You know what Krazykat, you have absolutely hit the nail on the head. Let me ask you something. Have you also noticed that when you heckle them back most of the time they have no intelligent answer or they can't stand the heat and they do something infantile like turn you in to YA? That just happened to me, the one thing that it did for me is make me now determined to (A) answer every question that I see from that person (B) be an even bigger smarta** than I was before. If people want to ask something knowing full well that they will probably elicit harsh responses and they aren't man/woman enough to take the results and either argue the point back or shut up, well goes to the nature of their person I suppose.

Well, it may be offensive at times but it is an excellent way to get your point across. Have you ever noticed that questions are often best answered by another question? When Jesus was 12 years old He debated with the religious leaders of the time and this is what the Bible said. Luke 2:46 Then, after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were amazed at His understanding." Listening and asking questions is a powerful way to make your point.

Yes, I have noticed this for many weeks. There are terrorists and their supporters on here that ask questions to try to divide the people of different nations and different political affiliations and different religions. It is not too well disguised either. Of course, there are the nut jobs of the world that just enjoy insulting and hurting others. You know, the ones that follow the ambulances to accident scenes and that pull wings off butterflys.

unfortunately, it's partly true. Not all the time, but from what I've seen, about 25-50% of the time the questions asked in this section are for that purpose. And it's really screwed up. We're supposed to be here to answer people's questions, be they random or ernest, not respond to someone's rantings or disrespect/anger/judgement/etc. Okay I'm done now LOL

Yes. Sad really. I'm all for freedom of speech as well but I believe freedom comes with some responsibility too.

yes. but maybe thats the only way they can comunicate their feelings at the time. maybe they dont know how to communicate and the reaction they get is all they have to go by. i know cause i sometimes do it myself were cant really express what i want to say and skip the subtler feelings then it just comes out in a mosh. and is the harshest statement by the end. reations maybe a way they can look at things. i dont judge them but hate the way they ask it without thinking how it effects other people in general.

Aren't you spliting hairs with that question? Well I haven't seen much of what your asking about. I've mentioned about the things you mention but no intentions to incite hurt or anger anyone! I have mentioned about myself to explain myself that's
all. I have no bad intentions to anyone except maybe to those that insult or spy on me!

You are right; the question is usually not a question, but a statement that you need to react and comment on, usually arousing the emotions you mentioned. This only shows how grown up and good at conversing we are!!
May Allah give us the strength to help ourselves

I have noticed that, people ask questions to get a reaction instead of an answer, people that try on purpose to make others angry have deep seated issues.
