I don't get it. I've cursed lots of things, but it never occurred to me to curse a fruit tree for not bearing fruit out of season. Good thing there weren't cars in Jesus' day, can you imagine what he might have done to people when he got a good case of road rage?

have no doudt that many are imprisoned in thier rotting corpses
waiting for a miraculous reserection ,yet everday thousands no less enter into heaven and decend into hell
some have even embalmed thier meat to preserve thier flesh ,thus eternally staying incarnate
god created spirit ,clothed/sewed it into skins ,see how real they are ,we use these skins to sew our future ,to give us all a common beginning point
to some is given higher or lower burden or reward ,its a test if you will allowing you to be tempted ,respected ,tested according to our higher calling but our lower natures
to whom much was given ,much is expected ,but all are forgiven of grace equall wages ,but for us to live eternally with our own shame giod allows us to wallow in our hells knowing wer but need to ask and god gives ,but stubourne men cant accept gods grace
thus they lie in thier reeking putrid hells awaiting some reserected being to reserect thier worldly advantage ,refusing gods gifts /fruits we earnd

Trick question! You can't! No merciful, loving, forgiving parent would allow one of his children to suffer forever, no matter how bad. The Christian God is an abuser and a criminal. He is inferior to the lowest and meanest human being on Earth.

I've read it though more than 40 times and either I completely missed it or it is the twisting of scripture by war mongers. Not interested in private interpretations.

maybe if god came down from the sky and said "come with me to paradise" you would be ready. ANYONE would, there is nothing impressive about that. But to all those people who say their ready for god to take them I guarantee you think. If I was jump out a dark alley and shove a shotgun down your throat, and told you I was gonna blow your brains all over the sidewalk, you would be scared out of your wits screaming "please dont kill me" I think it is because humans want very badly to fully believe in heaven but they dont.
p.s. dont say you would be afraid of the pain because there is no pain when you get your head blown off.

Please I am only looking for serious answers, as I am asking seriously, and I don't mean to harm or offend any one.

I am a muslim, and we muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet, just like Moses was a prophet.
We believe that god created Jesus from a mother only. For us, it makes sence, because god created Adam from nothing, so it would be easier to believe that god created Jesus without the existance of a father to him, as god made the harder job which is creating Adam without a father or a mother.

Q - 1 - Why do christians believe that God is the father of Jesus, and not the maker?

Another thing, Muslims believe that Jesus was not excuted, we believe that god saved him, and made the man who totteled him an exact copy of Jesus, so that the people who were after Jesus thought they killed him, but they didn't, they killed the totteler who looked like Jesus.

Why do you insist that Jesus was excuted?

Serious Answers Please

I don't mean no offence to anyone

In response to one of my answers, the asker said that I didn't seem to understand the difference between the wisdom of the heart and emotional desire. Perhaps he was right. So could someone clue me in as to what the difference is? Is believing something in your heart the same as wanting it to be true? Seems so to me.

Why, then, do you think that Christianity is so heavily politicized in the US? What possible purpose could it serve, and do you think its right?

When you meet someone thats dying of cancer, or some other disease people treat them VERY different because they know they are going to die soon and they need extra support. Its human nature to want to treat them different than everyone else because their situation is a sad one. I could never be mean to a dying person, even if they were mean to me. Why is it that Christians will treat someone, they think will be tortured and burned alive in a lake of fire for eternity, like crap. They will mock them and tell them they hope they burn in hell. It seems like they want to scare them and be as mean as possible but dont TRUELY belive in hell. It makes me think that christians WANT to belive sooo badly but deep down they question it. Also, if people 100% believed in heaven they would be happy and cheering on their death bed. Not scared like most people are. Why would you be scared if you believed you were about to be young again with you family and you get anything you ever wanted?

If you already know about religion, then why are YOU here?

Just a dumb question to address an even dumber one.

Would anyone care to list a few of the very good reasons why atheists are here for the millionth time... so the person (currently the last person) that answered my question can perhaps continue to ignore them even though she knows better...?

Some don't take responsibility for being stewards to the land. They view this as concern with wordly affairs and paganism. All they care about is this "paradise in the sky". Kind of ****** up, huh?
