Because the Christians are really intense with their responses for the most part, while everyone else seems to be a little more easy going.

I find it so interesting that some christians who answered used this opportunity to take a swipe at non-christians. That really shows just how much of their religious teachings they absorbed.

You'd have thought the question asked instead non-believers. They don't take into account that other religions - Muslims, Jews, Pagans, Hindus and Buddhists - to name a few - fall into that non-christian category. It truly makes me think that the more time goes on the more elitist christians get.

And that is the difference. The christians (as a general whole, however there are some good individual christians this does not apply specifically to) see themselves as the only group with the right answer and the attitude of holier than thou shows.

Most Christians are only repeating what was told to them and therefore not really answering the questions. They seldom bother to paraphrase or reflect on their dogma, so there is nothing real in their responses.
Others are more likely to meditate on a question and spend time considering several perspectives. When non-Christians give an answer it is like a gift, because it is unique and part of themselves is shared.

Because the non-Christian answers with the corrupted heart of an unsaved man (or woman) who is still lacking the knowledge and mercy that is given through Jesus Christ. The Christian answers with a better understanding of the full-picture having already experienced the mercy of Christ and the knowledge that is given about all things - including those eternal - through prayer and studying of God's word - the Bible. The Christian offers hope that the non-believer can't. We've read the instruction book (the Bible) and met with the builder (God) - who is more qualified to answer?

Take the person "getagrip" for example. Do you think he's speaking from the same spirit as a christian just because he says " get Jesus" certainly not !!!! He's probably just impersonating one to make us look bad

However, there are mant non-Christians that are still morally sound and decent (plenty of em'!!) But then there are the nutjobs...and we have to just kinda take it....

It ain't just here. You'll rarely find Christians and non-Christians agreeing on anything involving religion & spirituality.
