I have never heard a Christian say that and I know thousands of them.

Christians ALWAYS say that? I'm a Christian and I don't say that. I'm just like most people. I'm a little afraid of the dying process. I don't want to hurt and I'm nervous because it's something that I know will happen one day and there's nothing I can do to stop it. The unknown is always a little scary, but I do believe there is a God and a Heaven and somehow I will get there after I die. That is some comfort.

Alright, although I do not WISH or WANT to die, if it was my time, it would be my time, I trust in all that God sends my way, and believe everything that happens is meant to happen, although I will try my best to make life go my way, if I die, I die. I am spiritually ready to join my lord, my savior in heaven, and like I said, I do not want to die at the moment, I still have so many things that i could do before I left...I would fight for my life, of course(if I was in a situation when I could fight off a potential murderer or what not), but would glady accept heaven if it came early.. I cannot wait to be with Jesus..
I really can't..
EDIT: Also, don't tell me what I do and don't believe, thanks.

How do you know? Had your head blown off? Don't categorize all Christians the same. They weren't always Christian, and some could still have an anger problem, and say, maybe take your little shotgun that makes you so scary and shove it up your *** for you, sir.

Nobody wants to be a victim of crime especially gruesome and heinous. Who isn't afraid of that? lts not just pain that crosses your mind but the manner of death you will have. Would anyone want to be lying on the pavement bathing in their own blood with a hole in their head? Even family members would be shocked and disturbed when a loved one dies tragically.
lf they plead for their lives, it is because its the most natural reaction. No one would dare say , "go ahead pull the trigger, l want to be with God". ln a crisis, the human mind doesn't think that way.

How could anyone speak with a shotgun shoved down their throat?
I am not ready to die, but I am ready to meet Jesus.

I will be happy to die and be with God.I do not fear death, I do
fear the manner in which I will die.I might ask you if you could give me a lethal injection, how do you know it doesn't hurt to have your head blown off? It is not a pretty picture.

I am a Crusader and I live to one day give my life for my lord God. I would feel Honered to die for God because there are so many other ways to die, Drunk driver , drugs, aids. would you want to be remembered for any of those? Not me Id die as a warrior and I'd be remembered as a warrior, Because I'd die on the battlefield

no ...most of your question is badly flawed. but i see the road you're traveling down. the ol' "religion is a crutch" etc. wrong road to go down. it ihas been gone down before by the way...and it does not match reality.
all of the apostles (accept fr 1) were killed for the sake of christ.
look at all he christians who ahve been persecuted for their genuine belief in jesus.
being a christian is NOT a crutch, in fact it is often the opposite. there is a cross. jesus was goodness itself...and he wound up dead on a cross...does that sound very comforting to you????
"enter through the narow gate"...words of jesus himself. interpret that how you wish.

You are right. Christians are even more scared than atheists of death or asians atheists who are over a billion.
Another thing is christians will lie like crazy about you if you get hurt and they know you are an atheist.
I was hurt once the job. my two co workers after seeing my burned foot walked off and left me, I drive my self to my house and than the hospital. When I came back to work it was all over the plant that i was screaming for jesus which was a dam lie:):.
Two years later my own sister said she remembered me calling for jesus to stop the pain on my burned foot while laying on the couch when she visited me. I hadn't seen my sister in 8 years:):). she's full of it.
