Along with the drumming we sing songs to the lwa in Vodou. Each song is meant to get the attention of the lwa, then to keep them there, then to say goodbye when they leave. None of the songs are creepy or scary. They are sacred and not to be used as a way to scare someone. To use these songs in any other way then during a fet (service) is disrespectful. If you want creepy sounds then go the store and buy a halloween CD.
