firstly, I'm not saying your insane. quite the contrary in fact, I just think the details and how it will actually work out is a bit different than you expect.

1) if you think jesus is "returning" how will you know its him? I've heard some say that there will be a vision, or something thats universal and it will be self-evident, wether people were believers or not before. if you believe this, whys it so hard to believe that this is how jews expected the messiah to come to begin with, and the fact that this didn't happen, is part of why jews don't belive in jesus?

2) do you expect some big movie-like magical effect of literally descending from heaven or whatnot? or being born into a body like a regular person... do you expect him to look like the paintings and sculptures? or would you accept him if he did not?

3) what if he "came back" but then became the king messiah that judaism has been waiting for since the get go?

(a bit more left adding immediately)

I live in a western society and I believe if I was to visit a muslim state I would respect their culture and heritage and cover myself appropriately to intergrate within the host state. I dont believe Britain is asking to much of its guests or residents to abide by the principles of our western culture as this would create intergration. What do you think?

inthe beginning god created the heavens and the earth
...darkness was over the deep
god saw the light and the light was good
ancient people believed water nulified evil
so god seperated the waters
and let the dry ground appear
sepperated the water under the expance from the water above
sepperated heaven from hell
hells residents raise up from the darkness
evil demons are grossly distorted
and god gathered the waters and called them see's
then god said let the land create good fruits
according to thier various kind s
and god and man saw it was good enough
and then the lights in the heavens
and let the waters teem with living creation..according to thier kinds
let the land produceaccording to thier kinds
and god saw thatt was freewill
so created man in his own image
saying i give you every green plant bearing seed for food
you are free to eat from every tree
be fishers of men.

The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) makes clear what you must do to achieve perfection/completion as Jesus dermanded when when He said "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5:48.

If your life is not in perfect/complete accord with the Sermon, what business have you preaching? Are you not one of those Jesus described in Matthew 7:12-27?

Or have you turned away from the Word of Jesus and become a follower of Paul who murdered Christians and then corrupted the Word by teaching that by grace alone you are made perfect?

I want to follow ALL of the Lords commands so that I will be as pure as anyone else. And since the Old Testament was the first of God's laws I want to follow them and give reverence to them the same as the new laws and commands of the New Testament.

But I need help knowing how to do it so that I follow them exactly as written.

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

would you?

Remember, the hypothetical here is that you KNOW God has asked you to do this.

And, if you are going to try to say "God would never ask that" - remember that God asked Abraham to kill his own son, which is only one instance among many in the Bible where God commands His subjects to kill.

Why don't they start preading what their religion says raher than making negative comments about other people's religions? That goes for (Muslims, Christians, Jews, Pagans, Hindus... anyone) I believe that we should talk about what our religion says and not talk about what other people's religion says, because to tell the truth HOW THE HELL (excuse my language) ARE YOU AN EXPERT IN SOMEONE else's religion??? Do you agree? I think If you have nothing good to say Better say nothing at all unless is about your own religion. (If I kinda know something I say this is what I think... not 100% sure but I am always respectful) Also Do this people really follow their religion???? Do they really PRACTISE everything their religion teaches. What I have learned is that most religions say not to be critical of others!
