What time zone is God in

2006-10-18 16:09:41 · 17 answers · asked by Anonymous

I always thought that God was not supposed to be proven. I mean that a person either believed in such or did not. Since God gave us free will he would be contradicting such by allowing himself to be proven. By this I mean, he gave us free will. Thus, he gave us the choice to choose whether or not to believe in such. But if God was proven, wouldn't that make people believe in him, and thus, prevent free will into whether or not we chose to believe in him. I mean, if God was proven somehow, wouldn't everyone believe? Where is the free will in that? Just thought I would throw that out there. I am wondering what you think?

I work with these two ladies that say they see them all of the time working in our office late at night. It's really creepy when I am by myself there at night, but I haven't seen one yet! They told me not to be scared because they are friendly. These ladies are very serious and don't joke around like some of others do!

We could do it in three syllables: HY-PO-CRITES
Good night, and may God bless each and every one of you.

Think of it as community service. It's certainly more productive than the three ring circus going on here.

why not build the jewish temple again. i heard that there is another possible spot in Jerusalem to put it so the dome of the rock would not be disturbed. And who knows maybe it would make whatever is supposed to happen at the last day happen sooner. Not to mention it would reactivate about 200 scriptures for the jews which require a temple. So why not. oh no racist answers please

I recently started Apprentice Wiccan. Before you blasphemy saying that Wicca is concerned with demons and the Devil, let me tell you it isnt. That would be different. Wiccanism related to Nature worshipping and study of Nature magick. Anyways I got the Grimmoire for the Apprentice Wizard, however, in your opinion, whats the easiest and best Grimoire or Spellbook youve found to help you?

Did you know that following the translation of the Book of Mormon,
Joseph Smith said: “We heard a voice from out of the bright light above us, saying,
‘These plates have been revealed by the power of God, and they have been
translated by the power of God. The translation of them which you have seen is
correct”?
8
• Did you know that over 4,000 changes have been made in the Book of
Mormon since its original publication in 1830? Even articles in your own Ensign
magazine concede that changes have been made.
• How do you reconcile these many changes with the fact that the heavenly
messenger speaking to Joseph Smith said the original translation was done by the
power of God and was “correct”?
• How do you reconcile these many changes with the fact that the translation
process — utilizing a “seer stone” — involved individual characters and specific
words?
One must conclude that Mormon leaders are not being honest. For how can
it continually be claimed (to the present day) that the Book of Mormon is the “most
correct book on earth,”
9
knowing full well that many thousands of changes have
been made in it through the years?
10
Steve Benson, the grandson of the late Mormon leader Ezra Taft Benson,
11
wrote the following damning words in a newspaper article: “Troubling to us was
the pathological unwillingness of the Mormon Church to deal forthrightly with its
doctrine and history. Our personal study revealed that church canon, history, and
scripture had been surreptitiously altered, skewed, rewritten, contradicted, and
deleted.”

I'm talking about those who are vehemently opposed to same sex marriage, claim those who are not Christians will burn in the fiery pits of hell, and say all of their hateful lies are truth!

We need to stop this by requiring the reading of The End of Faith by Sam Harris (http://www.samharris.org/site/book_end_of_faith/) in every school.

Who's with me!?!?
