I know you're just starting out, but a couple of things to help you not be dismissed as "fulffy":
It's Wicca, not "Wiccanism". Its practitioners are Wiccans.
Don't start with the spells - Wicca is a religion, a spiritual connection with the God and Goddess, not a bunch of magical party tricks. There's a lot you need to learn and understand before you start trying to work with spells and magic. Circles. Protection. Grounding. Energy.
Check out Scott Cunningham, Starhawk, and Ray Buckland for starters. Mike Nichols is also a good read, and his stuff is available on the 'Net. Stay away from Silver RavenWolf.

Wiccans do worship the creator, just a different aspect of the whole. That being said, there are a ton of books out there to tickle your fancy.
My personal favorites are Modern Magick by Don Craig, My Life with the Spirits by Lon Milo Duquette, every one of Silver Ravenwolfs books, the big blue book of Magic by Aleister Crowley (makes you feel magical just holding such a huge book on magic) and The Middle Pillar by Israel Regardie. Most of these books are more ceremonial than most wiccans like to go with the exception of Silver Ravenwolfs books, which are pretty darn wiccan with alittle ceremonial and other stuff mixed in the more advanced books. The first thing you should learn is the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram

because it will protect you from negitive energys and get rid of them if they come around. In the sources I've listed a couple other places to look at the LBRP.

Read everything you can get your hands on. That way you can make your own traditions, which is wonderful, and what I do. Any book by Scott Cunningham is great. He had a style that is so easy to understand and is not dry reading. I'd also get Ray Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft. It's set up almost in workbook form and is most helpful. All in all, read, read, read and then do more reading!!
Blessed be to you, and I'm sorry you got so many bible verses thrown at up in the answers above!! That's not being helpful at all, is it?

I see the phobia mongers are tricky at artwork attempting to scare you. forget approximately them, they're ignorant. that's one in all those extensive open question that's tricky to appreciate the place to start. examine each and every thing you are able to with regard to the historic previous of Wicca. don't be a type of human beings who runs around conversing approximately how historical it rather is or with regard to the burning cases. those issues did no longer take place to Wiccans. examine here authors, Ronald Hutton, Philip Heselton, Margot Adler, Doreen Valiente, and the others that have been spoke of to you. understand that this direction would be one that is often approximately studying. in case you ever have self belief you recognize all of it then you extremely will discover you recognize no longer something.

You don't need spell books yet. Start with learning all you can about Wicca first. There are some great books out there.Go to a new age bookstore or one with a new age section. Don't be in a hurry to cast spells, that's not what we're all about.

Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham. In fact, all of Cunningham's books are wonderful and many of them are designed for beginners such as yourself. Stay away from Silver RavenWolf. Also, check out www.witchvox.com for some good information. Blessing to you as you walk your newfound path. :)

Here's a Yahoo! Group for Wiccan neophytes.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BeginningWicca/
And here's a book store that offers recommended and best selling beginner's Wiccan books.
http://www.isisbooks.com/wiccabeg.asp
You should find any information and books you need between those two places.

If you worship nature, what kind of spells are you interested in performing? I mean, are you going to put a spell on a tree?
