I'm talking about those who are vehemently opposed to same sex marriage, claim those who are not Christians will burn in the fiery pits of hell, and say all of their hateful lies are truth!

We need to stop this by requiring the reading of The End of Faith by Sam Harris (http://www.samharris.org/site/book_end_of_faith/) in every school.

Who's with me!?!?

Well, the book thing isn't serious. I just want everyone to know that link, and perhaps check out the book! But we don't really need to have it read in every school hahaha.

I haven't read the book, but I do believe that people skills, peaceable conflict resolution skills, and how to deal effectively with bullies, physical or (religious, hate-minded) psychological, should be required curriculum in all schools. I don't believe in so-called "home-schooling" either, as this is likely a ploy by the hate-mongers to teach anti-social religious propaganda to unsuspecting and vulnerable youth. I think that all hate-religions, defined as those who propagate notions of "hate the sin, love the sinner," should be stripped of their tax exempt status, as they are welfare hotels for hate-mongers. It is outrageous that public tax dollars are being squandered on these fat, pork-barrel religions that do NOTHING, but ferment political and social strife against innocent people--especially those minorities who do pay taxes to support the lazy, and blasphemous church-goers who abuse them with their hate speech. Yes. Fed up with them is mild language to describe the outrage I feel against those who have been perpetrating this anti-American hoax in the guise of religion.

HERE HERE! To hell with those haters! It's their hell, so they can burn in it! And why do they opposed same-sex marriage anyway? Eventually they're going to die and go to heaven where there are no gay "sinners" around them. Why should they even care what other people do with their lives?

I agree even though we home educate. We live in fundy central and our 8yo has lost friends because we are not Christians and it isn't we who are being picky. We don't rob, lie, cheat or steal...but that isn't good enough. I'm sick of my daughter getting her heart ripped out.

And Christians claim that they are the ones who preach a message of "love". Keep it up, you're helping my daughter loathe your religion more than I, as an unbeliever, ever could!

I am plum fed up with it myself. I think we should herd those people up (should be easy) and send them to an island where the temperature remains 75 degrees and they are not tortured for eternity.

Get a grip. There are many non-Christians who hate Gays and other races. All people of faith are not hate mongers. No I don't think that book should be required reading in school.

I'm with you! If they were truly Christian, they would live as Jesus did. They don't. They judge...."Judgement is the Lord's" "Judge not lest ye be judged". I have black friends, hispanic friends, gay friends, & I don't think any of them should be damned! They are all good people.

Yes, lets hate them. Lets hate them a lot. Lets punish them for thinking differently than we do. Lets not let them have jobs and starve.
