Is there like any big difference anyone else sees or am I jus trippin?

They skip Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day,and Birthdays, too. Frankly, I think it's odd. Never heard of it for any religion except theirs, and they never give a name to it.

if you say there are only 144,000 people going to heaven and there are currently over 3 million jw then how likley is it that YOU will go to heaven? are you willing to stay with your faith when you have such a slim chance?

We do have savage instincts and the only thing keeping us in check is education. I'm not talking about school. I am talking about the education from life in general, expierences of yourself and others. You learned your morals from your family and friends.

So what are your thoughts?

Surah IX: 29 – “Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth… until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

Does this Surah mean, "Yes", it means any other Religion other than Islam" or "No", It means Atheists only.

Can I have the answer in 21st. Century English. I find any form of English very hard to comprehend? and please be straight forward & not vague please.

B: not if they irrationally believe in the christian lord...faith (also believing something with our reason or irrationally) is very powerful.

C: No. You have to consider the circumstance like how they were raised, what the majority of their community believes, if they are lied to and given false rationality and if there is something at stake or believed to be at stake along with many more conditions that may make someone believe something irrationally.

If you were to sit down and design your own religion, what would it be like. Some Christians have created their own, Pagans as well.
Would you have a God, Goddess, saints? Is there a text that would be sacred or in some way revered? Would you emphasize charity, service, love?
What would it look like?

They claim to believe in Jesus, but in the Koran Jesus wasnt the son of God, he didnt die on the cross, he didn' die at all.

if you dont believe Jesus died then you dont believe in jesus,


also in the Koran in the book called the surah they talk about killing eveyone who isnt Muslim.

Nope. You've got three at the top (just like the Greeks!) then a few famous angels (nymphs) surrounded by a pantheon of saints (Odysseus, etc.) Judaism and Islam are monotheistic.
