If I were to promote christianity in a muslim country, knowing I was going to die for it, do you think that would qualify you to be on the the 144,000 people that get to go to heaven. Would you be a modern day Jesus?

No. No mere human can pay for anyone else's sin. We can't even pay for our OWN. The only reason Jesus could was because He was the Perfect Sacrifice. There can be no other.

BTW, the 144,000 JEWS who will be preaching God's Word during the Day of the Lord are only a small platoon of the people that are going to Heaven. You aren't one of them. The JW's aren't either, if they thought about it. More than that many JW saints have already died. There's no room for any more under that idea system.

You can not be saved by works. Only by accepting Yeshua as the Messiah.

I think you miss the point of sacrifice from the Old Testament. The sin sacrifices were all unblemished animals. These were a model for the crusifiction of Yeshua as an unblemished (sinless) sacrifice. Since he is the only sinless man he is the only one that could make attonment for our sins.

Romans 5:12-14 2 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned-- 13 for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

Romans 5:18 18 Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

Are you a jehovah's witness because as far as I know these are the only people that believe only 144,000 people will go to Heaven. All that believe that Jesus is the Son of God and He shed His blood for our sins will be able to go to Heaven. This is a gift from God. There is only one way to the Father (God) and that is through His Son Jesus Christ.

OK I know this has to be a hypothetical question, Can you claim to have lived a sinless life? Were youborn of a virgin? Did the Bible prophesise your birth 400 years before your birth? Can you heal the sick, give sight to the blind, or forgive sin? Unless you meet these qualifications then you cannot be a modern day Jesus.

The answer is NO, you would not be given your life for sin! You are trying to spead the truth of the gospel, so you will be doing what Jesus asked of us, to spread the good news is what you are doing. Yes, you may die for it, but so did the Apostle's. The Bible says it was not going to be easy, and be hated so prepare for that part, but no that Jesus spoke in Parables because, even he says the word is NOT for everyone! So, just make sure you are being sent by God.

Nope.Jesus died once for all. You'd have to be perfect and only He was perfect.
The 144,000 are Jews that become converted after the rapture, and are then great evangelists until the AntiChrist has them killed.(12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel)

Jesus Christ came to earth to give his life as a "ransom for many." The Bible doesn't say that someone else will have to die for the remainder.

I think you would have to have lived a blameless and sinless life. I believe that's why only Jesus qualifies.

If you are the son of God in the Flesh, the only way this would work. Otherwise, since God only had one Son, Jesus, if you die, you just are dead.
