Do you mean sexual thoughts? I ask that because there is sort of a difference. Lust implies sin and in all honesty, that's not okay. But sexual thoughts are perfectly okay. Let me explain.

If you are a single woman and have sexual thoughts about a man you are thinking of marrying, that's okay. If you are married and have sexual thoughts about your husband, that's not just okay, that's fun! lol

If you are married and see a good-looking man and think what a nice rear (or whatever turns you on) that man has, and it makes you want to go home and have sex with your husband ..... guess what? That's okay too!!!

BUT, if you are married or betrothed and you know in your heart that if that man with the nice (insert body part here) approached you for sex that you would do it, then you have lusted and have sinned.

biblically lustful thoughts are only ok when they are of your intended husband or wife(and after marriage). We see this in the book of Song of Solomon , also called the Song of Songs.

Very passionate and very lustful.

All other Lustful thoughts are to be contolled as any other weakness of the flesh. It is not the simple act of the thought, it is the continuence of the thought once it has invaded your thought process. Do you shut down the wrongful thought or do do you go along with it.

Here is your answer:
You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
Matthew 5:27-30

Lust exists in human nature; it's sin to ignore the nature of your own body, just as it's sinful to ignore the nature surrounding you.

They are always OK, unless you are obsessing. Then they can be a problem.

Anyway you will grow out of them in time.

They are never considered okay. It seems that if you think it you have already done it in your heart.
