A memory based belief is any "knowledge" of past events through memory that are not accessable through evidence, photographs, etc. Think of some event you remember from a kid. Is that knowledge or belief?

Real knowledge is not based on anything because it doesn't really exist. The wisest man claims to know nothing. Life is a mystery, put your best foot forward and try to enjoy the ride. This is where faith comes into play. Why bother living if nothing can be known? Because we have faith (not belief!) that life is substantial anyway - that we are here for a reason even if that reason cannot be known to us.

Besides, people who believe they have a good reason to believe something are the most dangerous kind. They are often the ones that believe their reasons are good enough to kill and die for.

Could be either. If you can corroborate the memory with another person who was there, it is partly knowledge. I say partly b/c there may be two different, but similar, versions of the event.

If they are real to the believer, then, yes, they are real.
Do you need others to also believe you, for you to consider it 'real' knowledge?
Knowledge, like beauty, is in the mind of the beholder.
