Do you believe that we are nothing more than educated beast?

We do have savage instincts and the only thing keeping us in check is education. I'm not talking about school. I am talking about the education from life in general, expierences of yourself and others. You learned your morals from your family and friends.

So what are your thoughts?

Can you teach a dog or bird Morals?

Can dog or birds pass down what we teach them from generation to generation?

The only thing that separates us from animals is our ability to pass knowledge down from generation to generation.

Without that ability we would still be living in caves.

We aren't mineral (although we have mineral components) and we aren't plants (though males can get stemmy), so we must be beasts because we are animals. What separates us from other animals (besides our enormous brains) is that we have consciences, know right from wrong, have the capacity for emotions and know that we are going to die.

Yes. We're animals. Intelligent animals, but animals non the less. If we weren't, we wouldn't be so stupid.
