thats a good point. I think you can't prove God because he's not something to be proven. He's so much above that. I think that's a good point you raise about how if God was proven, people would believe, therefore there wouldn't be free will. It's so much more than our human thinking because GOd is not of this world. Certain things can't be proven because it takes faith to believe in them.

I think God comes within the person
So instead of people trying to prove there is a God
Why don't they just try to be the best person they can be
Free Will is the right to think and do what you think is right for your souls growth as a person
Depending on the time or in what ever situation you may find yourself in and not blaming anyone other then yourself as it may have been a lesson you had to learn : )
By being:
Loving
Caring
Understanding
Acceptance
Letting Go
Detachment
Appreciation
And enjoy what they have and not what they don't have : )
Love & Blessings

Free will means having a choice, it does not mean believing whatever you want to believe or wishful thinking. What you are saying is that God don't want to be proven because he wants some people to fail and go to hell.

They try to speak in God's defense because they hear someone trying to discredit Him. What Christian wants to hear someone trying to bash the name of Jesus? As far as the free will goes consider these things: 2 Timothy 2:7 Apostle Paul wrote a letter to Timothy, part of which says, "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things." You sound like you're trying to dispute God's existance. God loves you and He allowed your free will to choose to follow Him. In Joshua 24:15 there is a passage that says, "...choose you this day whom ye will serve;.." The purpose of your free will was for you to direct it to the God that gave it to you. God wants you to choose Him, not by force or as if you had no choice. Just like a guy who wants to win the affections of a girl, God woos us with His mercy and grace, and desires that you'll become curious about Him. You can relate to that. Would you want to be with someone who was bribed, or whose arm was twisted to be with you? God doesn't want that either. He'll walk with His believers and teach those who seek Him (Psalms 10:17; Matthew 5:6). Here's hoping you do the right thing and give Jesus Christ a chance....

Dear friend, God has given us everything we need to be able to see that he exist. listen to Romans 1:19-20 "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" God has given us Threemeans of Knowing he exist and one way of knowing him. God has first given us his creation. if I see a buiding, I know there must have been a builder. I can be pretty sure the buiding didnt apper on its own. I have never seen, touched, smelled are talked to the builder, But all I have to do is look at the building and I know that He/she exist. the same way with creation, think about how complex everything is. The theory of the big Bang cannot even account ofr the existence of a Complex bird with a mind and the abillity to fly perfectly with wings formed just right so that it catches the wind. Nor can it account for one iota of the human brain so complex that no man made computer could hold the numersous files of information. there is obviously a creator. the second thing God has given us is a conscience, Conscience means (with-Knowledge). he has written the Ten Commandments, (His law) on the hearts of every man. For example, you know its wrong to lie, steel, murder Ect. know one has to tell you this, your conscience does a great Job of convicting you when you do wrong. These moral absolutes are existent within your conscience because God put them there. God has also done something very special for us. let me explain by asking you a few questions.........
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; Have you ever hated someone? the BIBle says that a person who hates his brother is a Murdere in Gods eyes. Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and therefore end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven. He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so Turn from sin (repent) and put your full faith and trust in Jesus as Lord and savior. if you will do this God will forgive you and grant you the gift of everlasting life.
God Bless

I always felt that you can compare the proof of god to anything else innate in nature. When a puppy gets old enough and opens its eyes it already knows how to swim. With God you can see in every stage in human development innately these peoples worship some higher power. God is in all things. Separate this from religion as that is truly man made. God is innate in all life.

I believe in a God. I look at a baby, a blade of grass, a tree, a cloud, & see how all things are interconnected. You do not have to accept my beliefs, but they comfort me, gives life a sence of meaning to me. it works for me. I respect your right to believe differently. You do not have to accept God as I see him, & I do not want to accept youre beliefs, or lack thereof. I find it greatly offensive, when I am told, that I must worship a particula God, in order to get in to Heaven. I do not see God that way. Free will is Key. Your Perceptions determine how you see things in Life. I never see Obsticals in Life, only challenges. Hope this has helped you.

The fact that the earth and all in it is proof that God exist.
But Satan is trying to deceive mankind by slandering him and making God appear as an uncaring God.
So many people are so wrapped up in their own lives they fail to see the big picture.
The sanctification of Gods name and his right to rule over mankind and this universe.
As long as Satan has control of this earth, there will be many who will question Gods exists and his ability to do anything.

It's a good question and I agree with you, It's mans free will that allows him to make choices in what he believes, God is not forcing any one to believe in him, those of us that do is simply the faith we have that he does exist. It all comes down to some believe in him and some do not. I personally do not have to prove his existence, I simply know and believe in him in my heart.

Even if God's existence could be proven by concrete facts, some people would refuse to accept it. But there are no undeniable, indisputable facts for or against God's existence. But when God does manifest Himself, people often do not see it.
Indeed, you are right that God gave us the freedom to choose to believe in Him or not. But that freedom only lasts as long as one lives, for at the end of life, we shall all find out whether He does truly exist. I personally find it easier to believe in God, for I lose nothing at all in the unlikely event that I am incorrect.
People often equate belief in God with religion: they are not the same thing. You don't have to be religious to believe in something, but religion does offer good moral guidance. I believe that God does not ask us to be Christians, Jews, or Muslims. He just asks us to obey His most fundamental laws (live a life of virtue and moderation, be good and tolerant toward others, and to eschew evil and excess). To follow these laws is to show belief in God, whose will is the universal truth. One may not proclaim it (as this is not necessary), but in leading a good life, one is obeying God's simple commandments for man.
But as these laws are inherent in most religions, being a member of one of those faiths is a simple way for one to be aware of these laws and to follow them. But sadly, not everyone who proclaims to be a member of a particular faith follows those above laws.
