why not build the jewish temple again. i heard that there is another possible spot in Jerusalem to put it so the dome of the rock would not be disturbed. And who knows maybe it would make whatever is supposed to happen at the last day happen sooner. Not to mention it would reactivate about 200 scriptures for the jews which require a temple. So why not. oh no racist answers please

No temple built in Jerusalem, on the spot of the Dome of the Rock, or anywhere else will ever be called the house of God. Christ declared to the Jews that their house was left unto them desolate. A new temple would be a denial of Christ. The real lamb of God has already come. There is no need for another temple to be built.

Now if you are referring to the temple of God mentioned in 2 Thessalonians, you should read in 1 Peter 2 where the church is the temple with Christ as the head of the corner. We are all lively stones in this the third temple. AntiChrist has already stood in this temple and declared himself to be God. Note the history of the papacy and the declaration by the Pope that he is God on earth, the Vicar of Christ. The apostasy of the Catholic church is the falling away that Paul was referring to. And, the mystery of it was at work even in Paul's day. Only the Roman Caesars of Pagan Rome prevented the man of sin to be revealed. Once they were taken away, Papal Rome reared its ugly head.

All the old law and the related temple services passed away with the advent of the new covenant.

At the same time, the Temple became desolate, with the spirit of God dwelling there no longer.

God allowed the Jews one 40 year generation to accept Christianity before the Romans made a definitive end of the temple.

Any return to the old ways would be fruitless, and contrary to God's plan for our salvation, which is now being carried out through his new covenant church.

your mistaken about where the Temple can be built.

the only place it can be is on the place called the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. (where the dome of the rock is now)

to remove the dome would cause WWIII

We don't know exactly where the Altar is supposed to go, and if that's off, it's no good. (And who cares about ruining the dome? We were there first!)

Christians don't have holy places. You can be a Christian anywhere including Mars and the Moon. You don't have to visit any particular spot.
