When I talk to religious people, they say you have to seek God and accept him into your life in order to see his will at play. But if God is real, all-powerful and everywhere, why should seeing him require me to believe first? Isn't that a self-fulfilling prophecy?

YA apparently offended because they've erased my past nine questions.

Well I'm out and I'm proud and I'm not going back into the closet again.

If you or YA find my pink shirt offensive, then you just need to get over it.

Only Islam claims that Genies exist. The Quran claims that the race of Genies (jinn) are visible creatures living side by side with the race of man.

I find Islam repulsive in ever way. I could never ever live in a culture where men are separated from woman and I am left to smell men around me all the time...most of all in ritual 5 times a day prayer where i bend over and smell them from behind.

However, if I met an Islamic Genie, what could I say? I mean, only Islam claims they exist...I would be forced to admitt Islam is true, just the same as if I met the Sun God and the Harvast God, I would be forced to admitt paganism is true.

What say you....would you still deny Islam?

Quran 15:27 “And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind.” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/015.qmt.html#015.027

Quran 72:01 "Say: It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qur'an). They said, 'We have really heard a wonderful Recital!

Proverbs 24:16...For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again; but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
From Old to New...does that verse mean-"You can't keep a good man down"? (smile)!

He is certainly worthy of praise and adoration. He should be lifted up and magnified. His virtues should be extolled. His power and authority should be recognized and His name revered and sanctified. A greater man never, nor will ever, walk the earth. He was perfect in every way.

Do you agree?

What proof do you have that your god is real and the Flying Spaghetti Monster is fake? I read "The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" and He speaks to me through his word. He tells me that He is real and He created everything and He is the one true god. If tells me that if I believe in Him, He will reward me with an eternity in Heaven. He explains why everything is the way it is and why that He's responsible for it.

Why should I stop believing in Him and start believing in your god when He tells me not to and that He is the one true god? Do you have any proof? He has given us proof through His word and His word says that yours is a lie.

Quran 5:51 YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! TAKE NOT THE JEWS AND THE CHRISTIANS FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND PROTECTORS" http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/005.qmt.html

The Quran doesnt allow friendship with kafir or unbeliever or dhimmi or non-muslim or infidel (insert an islamic dehumanizing term) but neverthless, for obvious reasons, many Muslims living in non-muslim countries now desperately want to at least be able to claim they have some non-muslim friends.

Its not just Muslims though, this is also partly a response from the most cowardly in our culture. While "dialogue" is a good thing, sycophantic embrace only encourages the Jihadist mentality further, like blood in a shark tank.

Whats wrong with Muslims paying some price, be it lesser acceptance or whatever, from the hatred and violence that their culture manufactures?

Will more acceptance or "love" bring taken them away from their hate doctrines? How nieve is that...

Do we just believe what we are brought up to believe?

This is a serious question. I have been thinking about this a lot lately. How do I know what I believe is not just out of fear? Fear of hell? Fear of being wrong? I do believe in God, it's all these different relgions and everyone thinking their's is the only right way that I'm having problems with.

I am getting the idea that they think if you don't believe the way I do I have a right to kill you. Isn't it enough to just believe the way you want? Why do they feel complelled to force religion by war or starving people or fear. I mean why do they care what I believe?

Do you still incorporate some Christian beliefs or did you go over to Wicca completely?

My example: I know Wicca is the religion for me - but God "and Goddess"???....is that how I believe - or just what I have been taught?

One the one hand I believe that God doesn't care WHAT you call him as long as you do call him. But - "Worship only one GOD (not Goddess)...??? That still sticks with me....

Church - no organized money making religion for me, thanks....not when people live one way on Sunday and another way thru the week.

I will have to decide eventually what to do and how to go about my decision - but I guess I still have some Christian hurdles to get over.
