Good question, i would have to say the only moral u might have is to respect those more powerful than u. And in this world thats really all u need. Considering u were seperated from birth and raised by the wilderness or the streets.

I believe most enities have some morals when born and as for right and wrong that is opinions by people who think they have the answers to how you should behave. If all the smart ones teaching were so good why do the people find it so hard to accept and put into practice. Not everyone likes the same kind of food or drink so that applies to rules.

Of course it depends what you mean by morals, most societies settle down with some version of the Golden Rule but they add their own tweaks. Is it moral to abhor homosexuals for example, personally I would say no but to many 'Christians' it is?
So in many ways I consider myself to be more 'moral' than many followers of religion, but that is not to say I wasn't taught morals at all I just reject the ones that seem irrational and harmful.

That's a good question and I would have to say yes until maybe the 3rd generation.I think like being an alcoholic and being able to have alcoholic children, there has to be a time that no generation has taught morals before we would not have them.

You would learn as you grow up through social interaction what is acceptable and what is not. There is no need for the religious version of morals as we can see from the state of the Middle East today.

God's law is written on your heart and mind. Society specifies right from wrong with man made laws to keep order.
So ultimately yes, I would have morals. At the same time my sinful nature would do its best to distort them to its own selfish desires.

Of course
Edit: Think about it a bit. If you were in a society (lets say of shipwrecked children whose parents all died) you would interact with the other children. If you hit one of them, they would not like it. In fact they would probably hit you back to show you what it felt like.
In this way, the whole of society (our marooned children for example) would figure out the playing rules (morals). They would quickly discover what things they did and did not like, and enforce that on the others.
We have morals because we evolved in social groups and it has been to our benefit to have them.

Yes. I don't think you have to be taught right from wrong. Most of us are capable of figuring it out on our own by experiencing the consequences of our actions. I know this because I figured it out on my own - no one taught me.

No, of course morals have to be taught. The question is by whom? I don't want the morals of a church. I want the morals of ethical people OUTSIDE all churches.

I believe God gives everyone a chance. It is just like people that were raised by parents who are atheist, I believe God gives everyone a chance to learn right from wrong. And if he doesn't then he excuses you from your wrongful actions because you truly don't know any better. He is a just GOD after all.
