What proof do you have that your god is real and the Flying Spaghetti Monster is fake? I read "The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" and He speaks to me through his word. He tells me that He is real and He created everything and He is the one true god. If tells me that if I believe in Him, He will reward me with an eternity in Heaven. He explains why everything is the way it is and why that He's responsible for it.

Why should I stop believing in Him and start believing in your god when He tells me not to and that He is the one true god? Do you have any proof? He has given us proof through His word and His word says that yours is a lie.

friendshipband,

But the Flying Spaghetti Monster tells me that is nothing but a lie put there to test me. He wanted to see if I'd believe in Him or not. It was just a test to make my faith in Him stronger.

Chris,

The proof of Him existing is in His word, "The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" and He just wants to test us to not believe in him with all other religions and science.

I've never heard of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I have heard of the Christian God - as have most of the population.

Foremost, mankind can never know for certain that anything exists of which our bodily apparatus can give us no apprehension. But, this does not rule out the existence of God, only knowledge of the "existence" of God. Make room for faith. As you and I and everyone else obviously knows, or you would not have asked the question to begin with, God's existence is not something that can be proved. However, God's existence is not something that can be disproved either.

I will pray for you. We are only on this Earth for a short time. The years pass quickly. The older we become, the faster time flies. Although it's not a reason to believe, would it not be better to live now and believe than to die and find out you were wrong?

—Idiom9. in faith, in truth; indeed: In faith, he is a fine lad.

faith can mean many things. but saying that your bible is proof of god is not good enough evidence. Lets pretend for a second that you built a time machine, and went back in time to a few hundred years before jesus christ was born, and wrote a book full of nonsense about principles laid out by a fake god that you had no beleif in, and gave it to a person at that time, appearing as though by apparition in front of them, handind them this "bogus" book, and leaving again. to that person, it would be as though the good written about in this "book" was real. He would go on to probably create a religion. he would gather followers and have the work published and handed out to many people. when you returned, it would be most likely that in modern times, this religion had become on of the leading religions in the world. it might not seem credible to you, but to the folowers, it would be The Law. now, this is obviously not what happened with christianity, but what if the bible was written by somebody as a joke (I apologize to all religious people out there, I do not mean this to offend, only to explain). My point is, you can't base beleif off of a book, a word, and a feeling that was given to you by somebody else. you must look deep inside yourself (really cliched) and figure out what you truly believe in. personally, I believe gods were invented as a way to explain ones actions. Instead of taking responsibility, they would say, oh, yes I did it, but I'm terribly sorry, because my god said I should be. all I ask is that you try and figure out your own beliefs before beleiving others'.

In 2 Timothy read the following and see if you see yourself there.

Chapter 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

THERE IS HOPE FOR EVERYONE INCLUDING YOU

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

When the FSM gets himself murdered in front of the entire town as witnesses, and then comes back from the dead, overpowers a bunch of guards sent to guard the dead body, and appears to over 500 witnesses who were later willing to be tortured to death rather than recant their story, then maybe you will have my attention.

But until then, I will stick with Jesus.

May the Meat Sauce of His eternal mercy be upon thee always. His Parmesan Truth be also as a coarsely ground blessing upon thee and also upon all who harken unto He that is the Most High Noodle. and so that thou mayest speak with pungent breath He giveth unto thee a side order of garlic bread with pesto.
