"Myhomie" was a dude from Chicago. One day he was all trippin' so he put on a mask and went to Palatine. On the way he met a guy who lost his cigarettes so Myhomie helped him find them. The man was so happy he offered Myhomie a Hershey bar , and they sat on a corner with a German Shepard, and Myhomie told him all about Rockford, even though he never was there. Don't be mean, this makes as much sense as some of these answers.

NO, that will make you a demonic person, first of all a TRUE PROPHET can NOT be bought by giving away Chocolates. What you have done is setting up a situation to create a circumstances, Instead Of making a prophecy. If a Prophecy is True, a Prophet will not have to create conditions for it to happen,

There is a differnce between prophets, seers, and ones who can predict the future. But the meanings get lost in the english tranlation. A prophet was a messenger of GOD who not always could foretell the future. They were just sent to give warning to mankind. For example, moses(pbuh) could not tell the future. GOD told him the future and he just accepted it. Another example. Joseph(pbuh), son of jacob(PBUH), could interperet dreams that were of the future. But does not mean he could predict the future. He could read dreams. And seers are mankind. But the english language will say they are the same, but they are not. That is like comparing warm and hot. They are not the same. Prophets were messengers of GOD and seers are us. It is written in the quran, "and it is allah who has made you seer. Little thanks do you give". This was adressed for mankind. A seer and prophet are two totaly different degrees. And ones who could predict the future were many. Like nostradamous for example. He really was able to tell the future, but was no prophet. And someone told me one time that besided being able to tell the future, people neglect tha fact that he was a spiritual healer. So who knows? But he was no prophet. I guess that quote is very much on point in the quran. "And it is allah who has made you seer. Little thanks do you give". Now what is truly a seer? PEACE!

it makes you an instigator coz you fed their minds with that wonderful thought. You would vacation in state prison together with the one who sets fire to the school. You might also wanna know that even if you didn't light the match, you'd have the same sentence as the arsonist as you are a principal by inducement.
But many people do become prophets in prison so good luck with that.

ONE DAY PROPHET MUHAMMAD CLAIMED THAT HE WENT SPIRITUALLY TO A MOSQUE IN PALASTINE ...
THEN BLASPERMS ASKED HIM TO DESCRIBE PALESTINE TO THEM .. ITS EVERY ROAD AND EVERY HOUSE ... AND HE DID DESCRIBE IT EXCELLENTLY .. ALTHOUGH HE NEVER BEEN TO THERE ..
AND HE TOLD THEM THAT HE SAW A SHEPERED AT THE WAY WHO LOST HIS CAMEL .. AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD HELPED HIM SPIRITUALY .. AND HE TOLD THEM THAT SHEPERD WILL BE EXACTLY SOMEWHERE .. THEN THEY WENT AND ASKED THE MAN .. AND THE MAN APPROVED WHAT MUHAMMAD DID FOR HIM ..
THAT IS BECAUSE HE WAS A PROPHET .. NOT YOU CLAIM THAT THIS SCHOOL WILL BURN FOR CHOCOLATE ...
AND JESUS WALKED ON WATER ... AND MOSES MADE A WAY THROUGH THE RED SEA ... PROPHETS ARE SUPPORTED BY GOD .. THEY CAN DO MIRACLES ..

NO.
Prophets (Peace be upon them) are chosen by God and follow His commands.
The last Prophet (Peace be upon him) has already passed on from this world, so there can be NO new Prophet!

Not anyone can have a prophetic ministry although any believer can receive a prophetic revelation from God. God appoints some to be prophets and anyone who seeks that office apart from God's appointment is a false prophet. The example you give is an example of manipulation not of divine revelation. Someone who engages in that type of "prophecy" is by definition a false prophet.

When a person believes on Jesus and is born again by the Holy Spirit they receive supernatural spiritual gifts to be used to work together with others in the family of Jesus for building each other up in the faith and for serving one another just like a regular family does unless it is disfunctional. Here are two of the passages that describe these gifts and as you can read prophecy is mentioned in both of them.

"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:4-8

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:4-12
