The importance is actually nothing, It is only the work of the fanatics, who are making it miserable to live on this earth and all of it in the name of religion. Actually religion had a good vision at the time of invention. Silly modifications have caused religion to become a real pain.

So, in today's world, religion has no importance, only the leaders are having and using all importance which should be given to the morals of the religion.

There are other things more important to society than religion. Teaching of ethics is a good one.

there should be less religion and more individual spirituality. Religion for many years has been used in society to control and abuse people. It has and continues to be a tool and excuse to put down, abuse, mame, torture, and kill other people. All because they believe differently. The people who are different were only using their own brains and developing their own spiritual thoughts and ideas. No one should be faulted for that. This often brings more spiritual advancement than being confined to one way of thinking about spiritualism and a higher being. I like to encourage spirituality instead of religion.

religion is a hindrance to society not of importance at all . religion is holding back evolution .

It is extremely important. Without it man has no criteria and divine support for morality and our societies will fall more deeply into corruption and suffereing.
