When I see the muslim woman I do wonder how they can walk around like that in the hot sun. It seems like it would be very uncomfortable.
I don't nec. think that this is abusesive or that she is being treated horrible. I will say that I do not understand the purpose.
As far as the rules I don't know them so I can't give an opinion.
I do not really know the religion so I can't have an opinion.
I think everyone has the right to choose what religion they want to follow and even though I may not understand it or know nothing about it I always have respect for the person who is able to have a religion and follow it.
Myself, I wouldn't say I have a particular religion. I believe God exists and I believe we all worship the same God whom we give different names to and we have our different beliefs on what it is all about.
I think one is doing good if they can go through life without hate, lies, venticveness (spelling?) judgement of others, harming or killing others.
If I were educated in your religion and traditions I would give you an opinion, but as you know now I know nothing. I am not going to be ignorant and agree or disagree on something I don't know.
Peace. (wish it were here)

I was just wandering since you are a muslim, you are asking other religion to give opinion for your religion. It is rather ridiculous but anyhow let me tell you. God had promised heaven to all muslims but off course punishment will be lavished for the unfaithful ones before allowing into heaven. God had created us with "desire" in which it needs to be cleansed and tamed during the fasting month. Otherwise this "desire" will easily follow
the orders of the Satan whom had refuse to bounce to mankind when Adam and Eve were created in heaven. The Satan had made an agreement to the God to seduce and drag those unfaithful ones to fill the Hell. Satan will take any opportunities to
mislead mankind, the reason why two opposite sex are not allow
to be alone because the third one will be the Satan. This is the commandments of God to command puberty girl to cover up all parts of the body except the face , two palms and toes when confronted with the opposite sex whom is not her close relatives.
As a muslim, whether you like it or not, it is better for them to follow the commandment rather to disobey. This is for her own good. God's punishment is very severe and the heat from hell is
1000 times hotter then on earth. To me , it doesn't matter what others say about it, as God says muslims are the best mankind on earth.

Well, when I see a Muslim lady in America, I see someone very devout to their religion, which I find admirable because of the (unfortunate) anti-Muslim sentiment in the US.
However, in countries where it is required for women to wear it, I see an entire group of people (women) being repressed. I know not all would wear it if given the choice, and I believe that all people deserve to make their own choices and not have them made for them.

I have great respect for her.
What is my opinion of Islam? It is religion that is much more acceptable than Christianity (G-d is One), and one that is so misunderstood. Then, our media doesn't help any. The Qur'an is a beautiful book. I read it, and am fascinated by how much it is like my Holy Scriptures, only often about Ishmael instead of Issac. And, I have no problem with this.

I assume nothing.
I am proud of Islamic women for standing up for what is right in their eyes. If they choose to wake up in the morning and put on their abaya and their hi-jab, then they are doing what is right religiously in their eyes.
Also, in the country where i live (an Islamic country) i have seen the westernization start to change the culture, i now see Muslim women wearing blue jeans, t-shirts (with long sleeve shirt underneath) and their ha-jib (head-wrap).
because of my experiences with the Islamic culture, i find it very hard to judge or assume anything.
i have the deepest respect for anyone who follows their religion.

i wonder about them, i think they are kind of fasinating and i wonder what it would be like cause i wear a lot of very girly cloths and im little so people think im much younger than i am and as my name suggests i have unusually big ears and well generally i look dolly like but i think pretty odd. So if i wore a burka it would be a totally different experience for me(so long as i can have pretty shoes.) So yeah, in an odd way i think muslim woman are kind of kewl.

I have two thoughts: 1.Hey shes Muslim! 2.I hope shes not being abused by ignorant americans!!
I was born in america I do not claim to be american anymore. I despise what this wh*re of a country has become!
Your faith is your faith, Christ taught ALL peoples. If I can say or do something to nudge you closer to the Father ( by whatever name you call him ) then it is my duty to do so and I am bound by love to do my duty. I am a follower in the ways of Jesus Christ, he is my example to live by to the best that I can. I fall short but I get up!

I don't really assume anything. If it was a Muslim man I may be thinking along the lines that he could be a terrorist. This is what happens when your culture is exposed to so much bad publicity.

WOW, I'm glad that I have FREEDOM of CHOICE! I don't knock what she does but, I wonder if that really is her choice or does she believe that she that she will be punished or ridiculed by muslim men for not dressing as such? I don't agree that you have to cover from head to toe, and not wear any of mother natures beautiful colors, in any religion to be MODEST. I can dress with my hair pulled back, and a tough two-piece (loose, not form fitting)pant suit and look just as modest.
