It is great if it also mean having the freedom not to have a religion. It would be wonderful if everyone would allow others to have freedom of religion, even if it is a religion they don't approve of. Of course, christians can't do that. The feel the need to "save" everyone. Too bad though.

There are inner and outer freedom. If we had both, the society would become heaven.
If we had not outer freedom, we should try our best to maintain the inner freedom, and things would change.
All religions have been persecuted in their early days because of misunderstanding, then they gained freedom, and their corrupted followers persecuted the following one, and history showed that this is the eternal process of Progressive Revelation to raise man higher and higher in an ever-advancing civilization.

Freedom of religion is very good. Need to be free to worship or not worship. And it should be totally seperated from the state. It is so intermingled right now that we have no seperation of church and state, and that is what is ruining a lot of religions in the United States now.

There is no freedom in religion, it's all about oppression.

I know, freedom OF religion. People should be allowed to believe whatever they want.

Preaching should be illegal, so should abstraction of truth through religion.

Freedom of religion is one of the greatest rights granted by the U.S. Constitution. It's a shame more people who say they appreciate it seem to take God for granted.

Very important as the freedom of anything else. Freedom on my side requires tolerance from your side so long as my freedom does not violate yours.

I think it is a necessity. I would not want to have someone else telling me what to believe when and how to pray, etc. I think that although it has caused a great deal of stress in the world, it is something that is or should be a personal choice for everyone to make and it should be respected.
