A sin? Someone who is an atheist takes on a different but kind of the same meaning. The difference being that most normal and sane people who happen to be atheist, realize that doing wrong is not the right thing to do.
On the other hand a person that believes in sins and sinning, have most likely learned these words from whatever religion it is that they happen to follow. They are lead to believe, that sin will lead them straight to hell or whatever place of eternal suffering and condemnation, that a particular religion believes in. No matter what religion, it does not matter, because at the root they all have the same concept; consisting of, "good and bad"
So no, atheists do not believe in sin, if they are moral citizens and have common sense (common sense is a key factor in any belief or religion) and know what is right or wrong. They don't rely on religion to guide them, they just know. They know that doing wrong is not right, and just dont do wrong! On the other hand Christian/religious fanatics, think it is okay to do bad things and pray for forgiveness once or twice, or more a week. They say a few prayers or do some sort of ritual or pennance or whatever, and they are good to go. Now they are cleansed again and can start all over again, behaving badly! Go figure!
Most atheists are comprised of the people on the planet that are naturally moral minded people who, pick up cues with no effort during childhood development that make them realize, what is wrong and what is right, a very simple concept to learn! These people tend to comprise of people that have a mind of their own and are generally the minority of any given population.
On a side note: Of course there are atheists that do not do right, just as in any other belief, religion or whatever. That is just human nature, that there are always a few bad apples in every society.

As an atheist, I can't speak for everyone, but I don't believe in the concept of sin. I think some things are wrong, in that they hurt other people, but I don't believe that some things are just wrong on principle if they don't hurt anyone. Like masturbation, or swining if you're both cool with it, or working on Sunday.

Not "sin", no. I believe in wrong-doings, but "sin" is a word used purely in the religious sense.

Negative. Sin is an offense to the divine. We don't believe in a divine.

How do you offend something that doesn't exist?

No. Sin is a religious institution. Atheists aren't religious.

No...there is doing wrong and doing good. No sin. Not one thing in the universe or beyond it can say what is sin. No one here is perfect so they will lie, cheat, steal, kill. In fact, we kill animals daily. Not a very smart question

I believe in right and wrong. Sin is just a term religions give to something they don't agree with, whether it's right or wrong.

Actually, from what soneone said.... Athiest aren't religious. That is where athiests contradict themselves. Athiests believe there is no Elohim (God), that is their faith. And anyone who has a faith has a religion, and Atheism is a reigion, so therefor atheists are religious. : )
