Ok, so I live in Southpark Colorado, my name is Stan and I have a problem. Ok, so I pooped in the urinal at my elementry school, and now the police and the Harley boys are after me, what should I do? I also need advice for my friend, Kyle, that is suspected for the cause of 9\11.

My problem is whenever I sit down, without thinking about it I open my legs. Not because I'm trying to be rude but it's comfortable. I never realized I had this habit until a few days ago. I try to stop myself, but when I stop paying attention I open my legs again. Like I said I don't do this on purpose it just happens. How do I stop??

Ok so I'm unsure if my eye contact with others is appropriate or not. I usually hold eye contact with people for 2 to 4 seconds when talking to them followed by a 1 to 3 second break in eye vontact. When I listen to others I maintain eye contact for 4 to 7 seconds followed by a 1 or 2 second break in eye contact(via nodding). So is my eye contact normal or is it in need of improvments?

My boyfriend is turning 30 this year, we have been dating for 3 years. I want to organize a small get together at a restuarant w/ myself and his family. This would include his siblings and their wives w/ their children. As well as his parents and grandparents. In all, about 9-13 people.

I would really love to pay for everyone, but I don't think I could afford to do so.

Would it be rude for everyone to pay for their own meal?

They do it do me all the time! I don't care how old or how young they are. Sometimes, it's "Yes, Ma'am" after each statement I make. It drives me crazy!
If the person is under 18 or 21, it's OK. If we are in a social situation as equals, I don't want to hear it, especially if the person saying it is old enough to be an older relative. It's OK if the person is in a job or acting in an official capacity.
I have always stressed the importance of good manners to my family, but I grew up in the South. While I am too young to remember a lot of things about segregation, I can remember some of it, but I didn't understand it. "Yes, Ma'am" is one of those phases that I associated with that time when everyone was not equal. I guess that is why I don't like hearing it, because I refuse to let them be less than I am. We will always be equals.
I will use it for an older person out of respect, just like I was taught, but I still dislike it for myself.

New neighbours in our formerly peaceful Toronto Canada neighbourhood, 5 screeching kids morning to sunset. I'm not sure why the parents don't read the riot act. My husband favours going inside and closing the windows, but its hot ... it bothers other neighbours too. Found out the parents don't care as they got aggressive when a neighbour went over to ask them for a 2 hour reprieve from 11am to 1pm on a Sunday & Saturday so the rest of us could enjoy our backyards. The screaming is too loud, too piercing and too disturbing to make it enjoyable sitting outside. Given the friendly approach has failed, looking for ideas. I favour a direct approach but looking for the right one. We live in Toronto Canada, and no we're not old fogeys with pickles up our ar*ses. And neither are our neighbours, just hardworking reasonable people who want some peace and quiet.

I don't know what to do with my old bras; I have many, they just don't fit me anymore, but are still usable. I'm thinking about donating them, to Vietnam Veterans or something, but I'm afraid it isn't appropriate.. I dunno.. What do you think?

from people's backyards and front yards.

Should I write a letter to each innocent person that I witnessed things being stolen from a letter of where this neighbor lives and what was taken from them. They do this often and it's happened to me. They have no shame. Your suggestions please.

#1) if you have a really great friend, but her kids are uncontrolable (to the point of being violent when they get angry)and a bad influence on MY kids. Is it appropriate to be her friend and be 'busy' when she wants to go to the park or city with the kids and just see her when the kids are in school. If she asks, I will say 'i feel the dynamics of our kids together don't working that well'

you (the guest) or your person that is turning 30?

I have a friend that is turning 30 and for her birthday she wants to take a ''stripper poll'' dancing class which costs about $300.00 and she expects her 3 friends that are going to pay for it and cover her cost? tacky or not.

P.S. I don't think that I am going. LOL
Tell me what you think?

A friend of my brother's and my boyfriend died two days ago tragically in a car accident. He was 21. I never knew the friend though I felt bad because he meant a lot to them, and I heard many stories about him, he was a humerous young man. They both wish to attend the wake and want me to come for support, but I never actually knew the man who died. I feel wrong going to the wake since I didn't know him and everyone there will, should I go and stay somewhere else like the back, or should I just not go at all and let them go by themselves?

I'm the only one who doesn't smoke at work, so is it rude to ask others not to smoke around me? Or does the majority rule?

I am very self-conscious about my teeth. I like to clean them as soon as possible after eating. Whenever I'm at a restaurant and I'm done eating, I just take my toothpaste and brush and brush at the table. I also spit on a plate/napkin and rinse with water. Is this rude? I don't do it in a public bathroom because they smell bad.

My mom's sister & family came to visit us from texas (we're in NY) They also brought my aunt's husband's sister's daughter (who's 15), because they were going to NJ to visit someone related to my uncle for 3-4 days. Anyway I think this girl rude:

1) as soon as she comes, and I say hi or whatever, she turns to my aunt and says: "doesn't she look like sara?" I just smiled but i thought it was awkward cuz she was talking about me in front of me to some1 else- like she could've told me "you look exactly like my cousin, don't you agree aunt rose?"

2) Mom, aunt, me, my sister, all working to get dinner ready. She is sitting & just talking w/ uncle LOUDLY in connected family room. Doesn't even help us pick up after dinner, just leaves to read a book.

3) She is talking to my li'l sis (12 yr old) and tells her stuff, but when my sis talks, she just kinna gives her a "weirdo" look and doesn't really listen.

4) she is constantly insulting my cousin(her step-cousin)

what do u think?

She puts a laundry list of preferred gifts under her 'gift suggestion guide' as she refers to it on each of her kids birthday invitations as well as the birthday invites for herself AND my brother. And on top of this, for the past 5 years, all of us (parents & siblings) receive an email with the lists of requested gifts for Christmas every year - in OCTOBER! I have searched online for etiquette websites that I can forward onto 'everyone' including her as an FYI but I can't find any. Please help!!

It has just become so common, I find it really annoying. Like sitting at a red light and a young man will be crossing the street and he is swaying but he is grabbing or resting his hand at his privates, whats with that? I rarely see young white males doing this..... I was told that it is a cultural thing...... ahem.... I think it is just a RUDE thing.

I'm visiting family in the south and they look at me funny because I don't want to eat chips, donuts, fried foods, etc...I feel weird with my egg whites and stuff. What kind of excuse would you give to get out of eating all this junk? They won't accept the "I don't eat this way" answer. I'm here for a week and I can only indulge so long before I start feeling fat.

I am really unfamiliar with wedding etiquette and need help1 We have been invited a a friend's wedding that is a few hours away in a tourist community and will need to be staying overnight. The reception invitation states "Adult Reception". Does this mean no 12/13 yr olds?We have a 12.5 yr old daughter who we've always taken to weddings and such. We will have to find childcare for our 5 yr old boy and will do so...but, Also-I have a baby that is still nursing and is a very quiet/calm baby 9 mos old-Does this mean no babies either? I'm confused and too embarrassed to ask the bride or groom.
Thank you!

My fiance is one of the worst slobs I have ever seen. She doesn't know how to clean, I do all of the laundry as well as all of the cleaning including dishes. I work about 12 to 14 hours a day, so I value my free time. I find my self cleaning the house from top to bottom, once every week including the laundry. What makes it worse is that we ahve an 18 month old little boy. I normally have to watch him on the weekends because she works. She only works about 30 hours a week, the rest of her time is free since she takes the baby to daycare ( the weekends are part of the 30 hour week ).

Everytime I bring up the cleaning thing, she gets defensive and we start to fight. A lot of her slobbyness can be prevented by actually just paying attention to little things like cleaning up after herself after a meal, etc. The bathroom is the worst part.

What can I do here??? I need help!!!! Please let me know your suggestions. Any ideas would be of great assistance.
