Jared, You should always be aware of your spelling. It represents you in a more favorable light.

Your father will be able to drive on a suspended license for a period of time, could be 2 minutes or 2 years.. more than likely he will be caught. There is nothing that you can or should do.

If your father does not have the sense or decency to correct whatever wrong he has done in order to get his license suspended.. then let him be.

If he in fact was a drunk driver, then in an effort to keep the community safe, I would report him. Yes, he is your father; however he is jeopardizing your safety and the safety of those around you.

It is not up to you, but if you feel compelled to do something - call the police.

I wish you well.

You don't say what he did to get his licence suspended, but lets face it, it will have been something more serious than not paying his parking fees.

I quite understand that probably don't want to go as far as reporting him.

But if you aren't happy about it now, how would you feel if he caused someone else an injury (or worse) while driving?

Perhaps you should tell him how you feel. If necessary, you could refuse to get in the car when he's driving. Either insist that someone else (legal) drives or take alternative transport if it is available.

If his license was suspended for disciplinary reasons, tell him ONLY ONCE that he shouldn't and then absolve yourself of his actions and the legal problems he will have if he is caught.

If his license was suspended for SAFETY reasons and he is a public danger, then doing nothing might make you liable to charges of aiding and abetting or conspiracy if you don't report it and he kills somebody.

The last word is:

Either you must live with your dad or you must live with your guilt if something goes very wrong...

IT IS YOUR DECISION!

I do not agree with breaking the law, but I do not agree with kids putting their nose in their parents business. If your Dad has to drive to work let him be.

Don't drive with him, and let him know how you feel about it. If you don't like it and he cares about you then he won't drive with the suspened license.
