So my brother in law and his GF came to visit recently and every time they got ready to go out they would take a shower together. They stayed for 5 days!!My husband thinkd it's fine because we save on water, I think it's inappropriate to do in front of children. Our shower isn't even big enough for two!! I don't think it's right for him to do that in front of his niece and nephew, what do you think? They are coming back and I wonder if I should say something??

A wedding etiquette question
I am standing in my sister in-laws wedding. We are doing all the normal, throwing her a bridal shower and bachelorette party and then standing in the wedding. My question is do I buy a gift for her for everything even though we are paying for all the parties. I don't mind buying gifts but I don't have a whole lot of money so do I not buy one or look cheap with a cheaper gift??

Thanks in advance and please serious answers only.

Booked to travel with Virgin on the 01.09.08 with 43 people attending our wedding in Jamaica.

2months later Virgin change the date of departure so we are told to fly on 02.09.08 instead. As the guest are a majority of family member, we all could travel on the 02.09.08 due to the day we returned (personal family rememberance day), so we had no choice but travelling the week before..

As we choose to change the week before, it was an extra £60.34 per person

I have done the 1st steps of contacting the travel agent to speak to Virgin, of which i got this reply from my travel agent:
I have spoken to virgin for you regarding the date change and they have advised because the option to go a day later for the same cost was available they are unable to discount the August dates, if all the other date options were more expensive then they would of looked at it but as there were dates for the same price then they have said no, it was worth a try though!

Any tips, sites or advice?!

Can girls tell if you are staring at her chest? I sometimes feel like I'm been "caught" staring even if I just happen to glance (or stare) at a young girls perky breast especially if there are 3/4 exposed anyway. What is the proper etiqutette here?

I live in Canada and we always say 'you're welcome'. I am not used to getting 'uh-huh' as a response when I say thank you to people in USA. Are people being rude or is this just your way of speaking?

No matter how often I deal with people in the US, I still can't get used to it and I'm taken aback each time I hear it and can't help but wonder why they're being rude.

Do kids not say that anymore? How about "your barn door is open"?

My wife and I had a big fight last night over our favourite topic to fight about - family obligations. She comes from a large family and is close to them. I can't stand them and the feeling is mutual.

We have come to an uneasy truce on the official events such as weddings and funerals. They are rare and I go without complaint (as least verbally). It is the greyer areas such as parties that we disagree.

I believe that I should be able to boycott these events if I want to. I won't miss them and they won't miss me. After all, I married her; not her family.

She says that it is only an occasional thing and that I should do it as part of marital family obligations, especially because she doesn't ask often (she doesn't).

I'd like mature opinions for either side of the argument.

Thanks.

my cousin's friend was telling me that in his school, there are seperate elevators for guys and for girls ... i found it a little odd. he then told me that even for the junior college block (we're talking 16-18 year olds), its the same concepts - seperate for guys and girls! do you think this insitute is overdoing it or is just being cautious? do you approve of the concept?
