I'm in college, and I have a room mate who constantly comes in at 4 or 5 in the morning, absolutely piss drunk. She never does this during the week, so it's not interfering with my ability to perform in class, but it's very irritating and awkward.

She is very loud and whiny, and cries and complains and drops/breaks things. I feel like I'm obligated to stay awake and take care of her or keep her from trashing the room and keep her from disturbing the neighbors. Also she cries and says things like " I'm fat!" and " Nobody loves me!"

I'm SICK of having to be responsible for her!

But what irritates me the most is that she's constantly trying to recruit me as a drinking partner, trying to get me to drink alcohol when I've made it clear on many occasions that I have NO DESIRE to get drunk with her.

How do I deal with my room mate's drinking problem?

"Is anyone else doing this, wearing/not wearing this?... etc." before doing something or wearing or not wearing something? I mean, for instance, my boyfriend and I were at a baseball game recently, a local thing at a park, and he mentioned to me he'd be more comfortable with his shirt off. I told him go for it, it's not a big deal- I see men on TV at MLB games shirtless all the time. He just said, "yeah, but nobody around has their shirt off- they might think it's rude." I told him to do whatever he felt comfortable doing. But my point is this. Shouldn't the rule of thumb be context-dependent, rather than depend upon whether people around you are doing the same thing. I mean at those MLB games, SOME guy had to be the first to remove his shirt, right? If every guy sat around and said, "no other guy is shirtless, so it might be considered rude," then you'd never see shirtless guys at ball games on t.v.

Okay. Well I want to be pure until I'm married . Meaning my first kiss will be at the alter ,etc.. I'm only 15 years old. My neighbor was moving and I found a dirty magazine. Her boyfreind starts shoving it my face, thinking he's funny asking all kinds of personal questions. teasing me. I told my parents and they think he's just a really bad joker. I don't think it;s funny at all .I think it's extremely rude. Now every time i see him he asks if i'm in to penis yet.I told him to stop but he think's it's a joke. How do I get him to stay as far away from me as possible. Worst part is he's my landlord.

Does anyone have neighbors who are friendly to you but when they have social gatherings at their house they invite the whole block and don't invite you? It feels like I'm back in high school again and it's always awkard for me when this happens. I make an effort to be friendly and considerate to all of my neighbors. I even invite them to my children's birthday parties, etc. Has anyone ever experienced something similiar to this? Should I confront them? Should I just "get over it"?

This is a serious question.

My girlfriend and I were "getting in the mood", and to turn her on, I said, "Ooh baby, check my prostate!"
Right then and there, she stood up, said "Ew...never say that again" and walked out of the room.

What's wrong with what I said? I thought I was going to turn her on!

Last night, I was visiting a friend and staying at her apartment. She lives about 30 mins away and in a pretty major city. We went out to a bar with a couple of her friends, everyone was very nice. After the bar closed, a group of guys my friend knew from high school, invited everyone over. So, my friend and I said sure.

When we got there, it was already pretty late, but my friend assured me we'd be back at her apartment at some point that night. She drove. After a while the party died down and everyone started going home. My friend was still going; she was flirting shamelessy, being loud, crazy. At about 4:30 in the morning I started getting really tired and antsy. Everyone else was gone, and we were the last guests there. I tried to get my friend to leave. I told her I was hungry and wanted to hit up the breakfast place down the road. I was thinking if I got her out of the house, we would go back to her place. Well, we went to eat, but one of the boys came

For example, when I was 16, I wrote F-U-C-K with a black magic marker on the wall of a bathroom(private school mind you), and it was the talk of the school for a good 2 days, and I just say back and laughed, and kind of was nervous at the same time that I'd get caught. This should be very interesting!

It has been 12 hours! Of all the people in the world online, it will only take a minute or so. My question is not difficult. Do you think it might be in the wrong category? Does it take a while to be seen? I won't be offended it someone doesn't like the question. Please advise.

Black people generally do not tip or tip insultingly low even when receiving good service. In addition, they are generally a pain in the *** and complain about everything.

Why do the majority of black people behave this way?

Do you find being a delivery man difficult?

Did you come across an incident where after delivering your company's product to the receipent, he refused to acknowledged it?

Worse still, when you tried to take it back from him, he refused to let you, claiming it's okay. He might also tell you he and your boss had many years of good business relations and he could be trusted to take the product from you. He might even threaten you that he might report you on your behaviour if you take the product from him. You might then find it difficult to take the product from him for fear he might complain you. Have you ever come across such an unreasonable incident? What did you do?

I have these hateful neighbors who just won't leave us, and our belongings alone. To make matters worst, the local law will not do anything to stem the tide of their violent, irradic behavior. Any suggestions

Mom remarried and took the new last name (let's say "Smith"). Kids still have the old last name (let's say "Brown"). Usually, to invite the whole family, you'd say "The Smiths" but won't that hurt the kids? What is proper to not call too much attention but not ignore the kids' names?

Well, I and that guy dated 2 years ago. I still think about him even though I've been in another relationship for the past year. Because our relationship didn't have a natural end we still have some unresolved issues between us. (He was pressured by friends and family to break up with me so he said it was better to stop then than later when we will hurt more. We still ask our mutual best friend about each other from time to time; otherwise we do not keep in touch).

I am really nervous about having to spend the whole day and evening together, and at the same time I am looking forward to it. I got a really expensive dress and will look fabulous; I also got his dream job which is very well paid. So he will definitely be impressed. I am only not sure how to behave and what to expect from him on the day. Should I be like "My life is great without you and I am successful" or act indifferent or be friendly? My aim is to be full of class and make him appreciate me. Please help.

How do you POLITELY set your limits with people, indirectly, subtly and gently without being rude. Especially when dealing with people who have no limits/boundaries with people, and thus turn out to be either nosy, or controlling and manipulating.
