I love Sushi, and I enjoy using chopsticks, but I find it very annoying and embarrassing to put the whole piece in my mouth at one time. It's too big, and feel like I don't have good manners! You cannot cut it or bite it because then it breaks apart and you lose half of the filling on the plate. Serious answers only please.

Hi,
I'm going to make this as short and sweet as possible. My boyfriend and I want to go on vacation. He wants to go to a resort where a friend's friend is getting married (he wasn't invited to the wedding). He feels it's a "the more the merrier occasion" and I think, if you aren't invited, you don't go...it's just wierd. I would rather go somewhere else, but it causes big fights between us because he thinks i just don't want to be sociable. I think it's in really poor taste to attend a resort at a wedding of people you sorta know but weren't invited to there wedding. I'd hate to think that they would feel they would have to include you in their festivities. he says, he don't have to go to all the wedding stuff, and we can just hang out with the few buddies he has while we are done there.

What's everyone's thoughts on this? Am i being paranoid? Or does this seem off to you?

When we moved into our new home,we were told the bus stop was right across the street from our house. Three days after school started, the bus came from the opposite direction,so the kids would now be standing in our driveway. At first everything was o.k. I had a few small problems with the kids playing around our travel trailer, but that got worked out quickly. Recently, though, two girls have been giving kids at the bus stop some problems. They've been kicking, pushing, and hitting other kids, and the way they've been talking reminds me of the little snobs I went to school with & wanted to punch out. When I step outside my house to correct them, they roll their eyes at me & whisper to each other. Now, if these were my kids, they'd feel what the back of my hand felt like across their face! Talking to the parents won't work, since they're never around. Since this would be considered a personal problem, calling the school won't work.

Any suggestions??

Thank you!

they would not let it bother them. My roomate steals our things. She looks through our drawers when we are gone and she stole $50 in my wallet. My wallet was inside my closet which was locked up. She uses our things and always wants to borrow things. When I was eating my lunch, she wanted half of my cheesburger and even my iced tea. I said no!!!!Then whenever I come back into the room she always has to ask me where did you go? or Why are you sitting? or When I want to lie down in my bed she will tell me how unhealthy that is she does not leave me alone. I told her to mind you own god damn business. She stills does it. She is always in the room and is either on my bed on my other roomates desk/eating on top of her books. Lastly, when I was studying she told me that it is too quiet. I told her that I am studying I have a classes tommorow and she said well I do not like quietness;so she rudely watches television loudly and immaturely throws empty soda bottles while I am studying

It is disgusting! Yesterday she was eating crackers and talking at the same time, and she spit chunks of crackers at me. I tried to stop myself from gagging but I couldn't.

Is there anything I can do to make her stop? Without hurting her feelings.

OK, So I am a grown woman, mom of 2, not on a cell phone, just minding my own business, driving the speed limit (or above) on the freeway. I see a space to change lanes, so I turn on my blinker and begin to get over. The guy in that lane decides to be a jerk and substansially speeds up, not allowing me to safely get over.
Why?

It's interesting to me how often this happens... when someone puts on their blinker in front of me, I coast a tad to let them in safely.
It's rare I even get a thanks.....

What is the mentality behind speeding up?
I'm not slowing you down, or "winning".
What has happened to being nice?

This is a situation that is driving me nuts. I work in a setting where the person beside of me is pretty close and when this person is on a phone call they get very loud. I have spoken to my manager about this and he has spoken to him about it however things have not changed. I want to tell him he is being too loud and none of us appreciate it and to please keep his volume down but I'm afraid my manager will feel like I'm skipping him. What would you do?

why is it that some people lie to be polite? ie-when a women A asks woman B if she likes her shirt...women B is most likely to say "yes"..when she really things "eww".. why cant people either ignore or say it looks the same as the other one... or even say that they wouldn't wear the thing? what bothers me more is when someone says he values honesty and "wants" an honest partner or how much they hate lies..etc...then when that partner tells the naked truth, or the truth in a nice way that person that supposivly "values" honesty freaks out...

i just don't get it..

Deleted Question: So you believe in evolution...?

Question Details: Here is a question no evolutionist has ever been able to answer for me, I challenge any person who believes in evolution to answer it today: If evolution is the way all species got here, then why do we not see myriads of evolving species swarming everywhere today still? Where are all the missing middle links? There should be millions or billions of them RIGHT NOW if that is the way it happens.... instead the species are clear and distinct and seperate from one another retaining their own genetic codes and reproducing it over and over down through the centuries, the only changes being small adaptory modifications within the framwork of their particular species. People talk about the "missing link" between ape and man, as though that is the extent of what we should find to prove evolution, but logic would call for myriads of middle links between all the species which simply DO NOT EXIST! I submit to you that the only evolution there is is in the mind of God as He designed everything
