a LV bag...leather boots, silk sheets, jewls, a red Ferrari...etc.. jokes

well that's what you would expect a rich person to want wouldn't you?

FYI not all rich people are greedy.. in fact most of them are like us middle classers.. they like books, they have hobbies, and not all are beautiful.. we all have flaws...

so to answer your question... you may get him/her a book, a DVD you think s/he might like, flowers, a box of chocolates... anything small will do.

As a guest to a dinner party, it's consider impolite to bring food. However, a bottle of wine (or a nice non-alcoholic substitute) is acceptable. Even if it's not server at the dinner, the host can store for later use. If you don't know much about wine, go to a wine store and ask for advice.

A box of candy or similar item (like a gourmet cracker) that can be saved (or even served without taking away from what the host is serving) can be fine. But I think a bottle of wine tends to work better unless the host is a real expert and won't drink anything that costs under $100/bottle.

If they drink, a good bottle of wine is a good dinner gift.

If you know them well, how about a hand-made coupon for a back rub?

Or gift coupon to a professional Massage Therapist, with Aromatherapy or something like that

Anything disposable such flowers, wine, soaps, or chocolates.

If they are family they will appreciate anything you pick. IF they don't then limit time spent with them for no one needs unappreciative people in their lives whether rich or not !!

: )

WHY take a gift?
How silly.
Take a bottle of wine or Brandy, or Specialty Coffee (Gourmet) if they don't drink.

OR JUST TAKE YOURSELF-----TO THE PARTY!!!

If they are wealthy, they probably have everything they need, or could want. Just bring yourself. I thnk that your company is enough.

How about sponsoring a child's education in a poor country, in their name!
