When I'm in the locker room, I've noticed that most men (and I assume it's the same for women) place their gym bags, etc, on the benches instead of the floor. Bench space is scarce enough as it is, and I think that what bench space there is should be reserved for @sses. People put there crap on the bench and then traipse off to the sink to floss their teeth for a while, and nobody can sit on those benches.

Am I out of line to expect more consideration from others? How would you approach someone who was inconsiderate and tactfully tell them of their poor manners?

I work in a super small office, so when a coworker wears her new perfume the entire office smells like it. I have a sensitivity to scents, and it really drives me nuts. How can I tell her that her purfume is giving me a headache without being rude?

I am a 31 year old school teacher and I went to a strip club last Saturday. And a female student Stephanie, who I had 6 years ago as a student is now a 19 year old stripper. She really had a banging body and looked great. She recognized me and came up to me in the club. First I was really embarrassed and then she asked if I wanted a lap dance. I told my roommate that I wish I was skinny enough to be able to wear shirts that show off my belly because I'm tired of being so overweight, & she's also obese. She responded, "NOW, WHY WOULD YOU WANNA SHOW OFF YOUR BELLY?! That's immature teenage stuff that women wanna show off their figures!"

Normally, a woman would love to flaunt off her nice sexy body from all that hard work she accomplished from losing weight. Am I right or wrong?

I moved to a new address, last fall, and a Christmas card arrived by snail mail for me from a first cousin of mine who is a successful business lady working overseas. I have not seen her face-to-face in well over ten years. The second week of January I responded with an email to thank her. Within two weeks she responded with an email acknowledging my thank you and giving me an update on what was new with her. In turn I waited two weeks and responded. Three days later she responded with a brief note about the weather. That was three days ago and when I responded today with a similar note, she got back to me in about three minutes! All she added was a smiley face. So I believe I am on the right track. But now what? What kind of response would be appropriate? And when?

I have to do my taxes however I have requested a receipt from a certain someone who refuses to give it to me. I've emailed this person asking politely for the receipt but to no avail. I don't like dealing with this person as they just like to fight with the majority of people who come in contact with them.
I am going to the tax office today to at least submit most of my documents, should I just have the accountant call this person? Ironically, this person works for a chartered accountant so I can't see how they can behave this way and keep their job. If that doesn't work, what would you do next?
