You haven't read the Bible have you? Many evil entities were destroyed by God. Have you ever heard of Noah's Flood?

Yes. Revelation, the last book of the Holy Bible, assures the world that Satan and his followers will be "bound in the lake of fire" at the end of time after allowing Satan to roam the earth for 1,000 more years. He will see if he can get more followers. Fascinating read.

I think it's all about balance. Good cannot exist without evil, and vice versa... My belief (and I'm not trying to convince anyone that my beliefs are right) is that evil can't be destroyed. It can be sent away, banished, extracted, repelled... but not truly destroyed. Remember, Jesus only defeated the devil in battle, he didn't destroy him...
