Just curious is showing it is appropriate in certain situations (outside working for a gentlemen's club or Hooters's).

Just remember..less is more, if you want men and people in general to take you seriously outside of work, (strip..I mean gentleman's club or Hooters) then you have to dress the part. Less is more. You can look sexy and classy at the same time think about it.

I'm rather large breasted, and I've learned several things about cleavage.

Don't jack them up to your chin, it isn't sexy, it looks painful.
If you can see where your bra connects in the middle, it's too low.

Now, for class and/or work, never show more than a hint of cleavage and don't let your shirt be too tight around your breasts, it gives an unprofessional look and it is distracting to everyone, men and women, around you. In a formal party situation, then it is okay as long as the dress is formal enough, i.e. a strapless floor length gown would be okay. In most casual situations and/or clubbing/partying situations, it is okay as long as you are comfortable with it. If you bare it, people are going to look and you can't get offended by a guy looking down your shirt. A good rule of thumb for this is if you aren't in a situation where you want to find sexual attention then it isn't a good idea. So, wear it to the friends house for lunch but not the boyfriends parent's house for lunch.

A woman has to strike the right balance between *revealing her form* and *concealing it|*

How a woman does this sends a given message to others (particularily to a man)|

To dress modestly is to dress to show your beauty and femininity, but to avoid presenting yourself as too raw|

A good man loves that, and takes in your beauty without lust on his part|

To dress immodestly is to unduly expose the sexual aspects of yourself|

This sort of thing invites lust in men, and makes everyone else look down on you - tops that are too low cut or shorts that are too high cut do this|

And different situation require different degrees of dress|

For example, on the beach, a bikini is perfectly fine|

At a social get together, men always love women in a dress| In fact they are thirsting for such a thing, since dresses are, by and large, now out of fashion|

Pants are good for work or other casual activities|

But avoid clothes that stick to the body like skin| They incite arousal in a man who does not want to be aroused| Instead use clothes that are a little bit loose, but with the proper style and attractiveness|

And in Church, never never wear anything that is revealing| The best thing there is a dress, but if you wear pants, make sure that everything is properly covered, top to bottom (I don't mean like a Muslim woman, but you know what I mean)|

My hubby always says, why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? Why would you want to advertise that?! If you leave it to their imagination, you'll get better results! Have you ever noticed that even "gay" men look at a beautiful woman or one showing things off?! I have!

A little cleavage is fine most of the time. As long as they are not completely in everyones face. But that looks horrid anyway! Yep, as long as you keep it a bit subtle and aren't resting your chin on you boobs then I think pretty much anytime is fine.

Obviously apart from church and things like that.

There are only two specific times when cleavage is appropriate: day & night :)

Cleavages are akin to mini skirts - must be long enough to cover the essentials and short enough to arouse interest

Cleavage is for after five. If you show off all the time, people will stop noticing.
