have this guy..who flirts with me but he never really made an actual move, I know for a fact that he's an insecure guy.. there was one instance where he told me to call him if I ever wanted to hang out or go to a movie.. and there was another time where he asked me WHO I spent my holidays with, and on top of that he's always questioning me about how come I'm always leaving when he comes and talk to me... so I thought well he told me to call him if i ever wanted to hang out..so I made the first move and asked him to hang out.He told me that he would like to but it would have to be in a couple of weeks because he is broke....so I called him yesterday..and told him i was going to starbucks and if he wasn't busy after work, he could join, me he told me that starbucks sounds good, however today wouldn't be too good since he's busy, and that we would have to meet up sometime next week..then I asked him if he wasn't interested would he tell me? He said quote on quote "that we can meet up

continues..." that if I wanna meet up sometimes we can" But he can't say that he is interested in meeting up as an ongoing thing" How would you interpret that...

Recently, I entered a gas station, where there was a clerk who wore a headscarf. I had to ask if there was a bathroom. She didn't speak. She only slowly shook her head in answer to my question. It made me wonder if there was a proper way for a man to act towards such women.

My and my friend's husbands are both paw bearers for an upcoming funeral. She and I were wondering if they will be seated in some special area, or will return to their seats with us after carrying the casket. Thanks for your help.

Almost every day, I come home from class around 12 pm and just as I settle in to work on my senior thesis, the bass from the music 2 floors above me starts shaking my windows, etc. I would give the guy the benefit of the doubt because maybe he doesn't realize that anyone else is home, but it goes on until 7 pm some nights, when its obvious that others are here. I feel like I can't address it with him and that others feel the same, because I think that he's some sort of drug dealer, and in North Philly, I'm afraid of what might happen if he gets mad. I hate to jump to conclusions about people, but I wake up all hours of the night when groups of people are in the hallway being very loud on their way up to his apartment. People are constantly coming/going and when he rarely leaves his apartment, its usually for a short period of time. I've come home many times and seen cars full of guys just waiting outside my building. Is it acceptable to send an anonymous letter to the leasing company?

It is very rude to make a comment about somebodies obesity, why do people make snide remarks about skinniness?

What are they doing in there?

My coworkers are simply boring to me. I don't want to be mean, but I was squirming in my chair the few times I accepted their lunch invitations. I am a wife and mother of two and my lunch hour is very important me time.

I just traveled out of the country because my grandpa died. He was like my father because i was raised by him. When people ask me where i have been and i respond a Nicaragua they assume i was on vacation. When i tell them the reason they either give me a condolence or change the subject. My question is how do I respond? i usually say thanks but it really doesnt make sense to say thanks or its ok because its really not ok.

What do you think?

Why do people give bad feed back to my answers ? I have been a dog breeder, fish breeder and bird breeder, My medical knowledge is quite good and other answers sometimes are just common sense. I know quite a lot about computers etc.. Yet I get answers from people like James B about my grammer and samonsuk about my knowledge which he says is rubbish. Yet neither allow contacy with them direct.

I volunteered to fill in for my friend for a few days at her job as a waitress at Ihop. I swear I was friendly and on point but most people rarely left a tip. I know you don't have to but I think it should be done just out of respect.

It really ticks me off! After all, I pay money to watch a movie, not listen to others yack. And amazingly enough, it's not just kids and teenagers who are guilty of this. I once saw an older couple whispering when I was watching a movie. Everytime they started, I would shush them. Then a few minutes later, it would start again and I would have to shush them again.

My family is having our own "biggest loser" competition... We've cut out all fast food/snacks/sodas, etc. and have all started exercising every day.

As a special treat, I bought some fat free chips for my dad and I. (We work together, and my dad is the boss)

I gave him some, and this snotty coworker goes, "Wow, that's quite a diet you've got there, eating chips."

I don't like this woman at all, and I wish I could have thought of a good come-back. She weighs WAY more than I do, so I'm not really sure where she comes off.

Any opinions?
