I have neighbors with 3 boys ages 10, 8, and 4. They are total screamers, like screaming at the top of their lungs. Their parents just let them scream like there is no one around. Our houses are pretty close to each other and I have spoken to their mother once before about the screaming. She just apologized but nothing changed. Now they have a drum set and let the kids bang on the drums and scream at the top of their lungs. We can't sit in our backyard or keep our windows open. I can't beleive that people can be this inconsiderate of their neighbors. I know that kids make noise but this is ridiculous. And they are the only ones in the neighborhood that have kids. They moved here 3 years ago and have no consideration for anyone. I need advice on how to handle this. Thanks.

From expierence, I have found that most people do not answer the phone in a meeting, even if it is an emergency call.
If they do, the other attendants of the meeting get annoyed.

They say that this is rude and interrupts the meeting, dispite this rudeness seeming to be of less priority than that of answering an urgent call.
It is a call that is such that one person can only answer it; the person in the meeting, and it cannot wait until after the meeting or during lunch/break time. Failure to answer will lead to disaster.

What is the phenomenon of most people refusing to answer these kind of calls in meeting, base up on?

It is based upon some form of selfishness, inability to understand the priority of the call or something that I have not yet heard of?

i work behind a bar with girl 16yr ld girl (im 18) im tall, naturally long blond hair, slim, at university, have two jobs, and im in a relationship... i do my job well, get along with the customers, have pretty clothes as i work in a high street fashion store during the day. but shes the complete oposite of me...we get along well tho.
however since her folks found out that i earn alot more than her (i can do jobs she cant do/doesnt know how to) her parents hate me...they are rude to me, ridicule me, ignore me when i talk to them, if they do look at me its as though im something the dogs dragged in...they never have anything nice to say to me, even though i do my best to get along with them, asking how there xmas went and days been, complimenting them non stop... but nothing

my boss told me its coz shes jealous of me, thats not my fault...i cant ignore it, they make it obvious to everyone and put me down infront of customers and make things up about me. so childish.
what do i do?

I HATE new years...if for nothing else it CLOGS up my gym with overweight people who have these crazy 'new years resolutions' to lose weight in the new year...

I for one HATE it... These people have NO idea what they are doing with the weights and clog the cardio equipment for at least two weeks (or whenever they give up on the resolution...whichever comes first)

Does anyone else agree that the gyms should designate certain pieces of equipment for these potential quitters so die-hards like myselft don't have to wait for them???

I work in an office environment...and one of our beloved co-workers was involved in a car accident (nothing life threatening, but enough to keep him out from work for 3 weeks). Today was his first day back to work...We all chipped in and got him a lovely fruit basket as a token of our appreciation upon his return. When he saw it on his desk this morning, he grabbed it and chucked it directly into the garbage!!! This was done right in front of us as we were gathering around to witness his reaction. I'm disgusted with him and want to confront him...should I?

Seems to me most people-including myself, have had to deal with female managers who like to be nazi's wether it is pointing you for mistakes they can rebuke-because they do it as well, or there just tends to be tension, because she has a big head and thinks that because she is your boss-she can act like she ownes the world and be a real biitch and enjoy it-even if you have donw nothing wrong, just look down on you-you being a female ....(guys can answer to; maybe she is sexist)-I'm guessing it's trying to prove something-maybe that she has balls? me and mike have know eachother for a while...about a year from one of our friends. we talk and aim. but the thing is, i'm always the one aim him when we're online. we tried to hang out one time but we missed eachother. the second time i asked him he said he had exams. i asked him what about after but i got no response. should i wait and get to know him better or just ask him again? i dont want to sounds desperate by asking him again and getting rejected.

What is your take on someone trying to start or continue a converstation after entering the stall in the restroom? Some of my coworkers try to start up a convo after I've entered the stall, or they continue talking after I've shut the door and everything. I just wanted to know what your thoughts are on this matter, because sometimes when I'm in the middle of a conversation and I'm the one on the outside of the stall, I'm not sure if I should continue talking, or if I should just wait, or just leave......?? What do you think??

My friend is having a party with the letter "p" as the theme!What can I go as, bering in mind I live in Ireland and the party is in the north of Sweden so cant be anything to big.
