me and mike have know eachother for a while...about a year from one of our friends. we talk and aim. but the thing is, i'm always the one aim him when we're online. we tried to hang out one time but we missed eachother. the second time i asked him he said he had exams. i asked him what about after but i got no response. should i wait and get to know him better or just ask him again? i dont want to sounds desperate by asking him again and getting rejected.

He could just be very busy right now, especially if he has exams. You won't sound desperate if you wait it out for a little while. He might just be shy about meeting you face to face and alone, or he just may not have the time to hang out. Hang in there, and you may be surprised by him asking you first! If you ask a third time after waiting for a little while and he comes up with another excuse, then I would say drop it and try to move on.

Point blank, just ask him if wants to hang out or not. Explain that you've asked a couple times and he's not giving a straight answer, and you'd like to know if he does or doesn't. Be prepared for the chance that he'll say he just doesn't want to, or else you'll get your feelings hurt.
