SERIOUSLY. How hard is it to click the little "check spelling" link after you type your question/answer? Please feel free to express your annoyances with me.

I have a very close relative who is turning 16 years old soon. I don't know what to get her, so I thought that cash would be the best thing. Can you think of a very creative way of giving her cash, or gift cards, without just sticking them in an envelope? I'm pretty good at making baskets up, but how can I do it with cash? Any ideas would be very helpful! Thank You Very Much!

I cannot stand it when people bring their cell phones into places that they shouldn't. For example Church. I mean is it really that hard to turn it off or just not bring it in? Besides an emergency, why would you seriously need it at that time? Oh, and those ringtones. Sometimes I just want to smash their phones. Anyone else think cell phones are getting out of hand?

It's a roman catholic wedding. It has been his dream to wear all black. Is it risky?
Will the church allow it???
Will he look like a gansgter?

He's tall, slim and handsome...by the way...so I guess he can actually look very good in it.

My friend and I went to the movies this afternoon to see "The Betrayed" and not one, but TWO morons brought their little kids to see it with them.

Not to mention the fact that such lovely words as the F-word and the C-word were used in it, the kids were bored out of their minds and were talking and crying during the movie!!!

Is it just me or does anybody think that it is RUDER THAN HELL to bring little kids to Rated R movies???

BTW - it was a GREAT movie! If you can, go see it!!

My daughters stepmother of 17 years died this morning from complications after a lap band procedure. She was a wonderful stepmother and although we had our moments I am very upset to put it mildly. We did proms togeather and graduations etc.. Should I go to the funeral or do you think it would make everyone uncomfortable?? I want her family to know how much I admired her and how special she was because she was soooo good to my daughter. What do you all think?

I'd like to know what time it is. I am blind and never have learned how to read braile. Whenever I ask someone what time it is, I hear an awkward silence and feel the pain of not knowing the simplest of all questions. Would you help a guy out? I think I'm late.

I recently had a misfortune in seating with an overly over-sized passenger during a flight where the seat divider(arm rest) between us was raised up and he already occupied his seat before I boarded later. I am sorry to say this, but it was not a very pleasant experience.

It had me thinking during the entire trip. I was very tempted to politely ask the passenger if I could lower the arm rest between us on some ostensible pretense, but it would be pretty obvious to anyone what the real intention is. So I just sucked it up for the entire excruciating journey(the overly over-sized part is a gross understatement.)

I think I do have the right to my seat space and to ask the person for me to lower the arm rest, for that he would have to stand up from his seat first.

What is the proper thing to do such for situation then?

One of my friends gave me a framed lithograph for my birthday. The lithograph was orginally hers but it did not go well in her newly redecorated home, so she gave it to me. However, I no longer like this type of art. I don't want to hang it in my house, but she'll notice it's not there when she comes over. Should I give it back to her? Should I just give it to someone else? What should I do?

I used to be a nanny for their son, and so I got very close to all of them. But, they still are my previous employers, so "love" is a little awkward. It's just an informal letter saying hello. Thank you!

"Smile -it can't be that bad." I can not count the times I have had people say that to me......HOW do they know how bad it is??? Do they not stop to think --maybe her house just burned down--or someone close just died...or whatever.. I personally could gouge out the eyeballs of the people that say it to me......anyone else feel the same-if not please tell why it doesn't bother you.

Why is it so hard for ladies to ask out men? Don't you think it would show that the woman is really into the guy? Besides, aren't women all up on this whole equality trip, but they still want men to treat them superior. Plus Ladies night. Free cover and free drinks, but you'll still go home with all your friends and talk about all the losers at the club. Be honest to men and quit trying to let the guy down gently, you're only confusing him.

Why do people gleefully disrespect each other these days? It suddenly seems like mutual respect and manners are archaic concepts and being rude or disrespectful is something bold one should be proud of.

I am mad pisse d. My niece is 17 years old...and pregnant. Thats a problem but not the problem....the problem is at her school, when the councelor found out she was preg....they brought her in a nd had a talk. Well my niece and her mom(my sister) got into it. Tentions running high at the moment. But anyways my niece blurted out she is moving out. When my sister asked...on what grounds can she support herself. She told her the school gave her someino on living alone with a baby...They said they could get her a place to .live...finacial help...and get her to an alternative school. Where she could bring the baby while she attended.
WTH...WE have already told her we will support the child...babysitting,medical.finacial, anything she needed...just finish school. Now she has this thought that she can get her own place...get money...and go to school part time..My sister is mad beond control. We think this is something the parents should be advised beofre anything is said to thier children.
