It doesn't bother me. If a couple is staying, I expect some sexual activity. I always change the sheets. I don't think it is bad etiquette unless they are overly loud and disruptive.

It doesn't bother me at all. I'd me more concerned if they were in love and not intimate. I would expect them not to make a mess of it and show some restraint in the noise level for the benefit of any children or youth present. I've spent the night at friend's houses with my girlfriend at the time and we most definately had sex in the guest bed, shower, dining room table....

I myself am a pretty sound sleeper but if my wife heard it she'd probably wake me up to see if we could out do them. My honey makes a racket in the sack she does.

at my house, my guests are encouraged to have sex...

of course we like to join in, so by no means take my answer as the norm...

I think the prevailing etiquette is such that the host should not have any evidence that it has occurred, but should be expected to change the sheets immediately after the guest leaves.

As long as I don't have to clean the sheets.LOL It really depends on how long the couple is going to stay, but i would hope that they would have the good taste of getting a hotel if they have to be intimate. in this way they can feel relaxed without embarrassment.

Absolutely. Be glad their still having sex. That means they still have a healthy relationship. I'd confront them in the morning and embarrass the heck out of them though.

We have friends visit from all over the country. I imagine that most have had sex while here. I don't see anything wrong with it.

Well if you know they are going to than it should be expected, but if it does bother you, maybe you should suggest a hotel and leave it at that.

It wouldn't bother me as long as they don't talk about it before hand. Also I wouldn't want to hear it either. So if they're quite about it then it wouldn't bother me.

Yes, if they are obvious and annoy other people over it. I'd hope that most people would be discrete enough so that it would go unnoticed if it occurs.
