I've seen people wearing them at sporting events and other places where's they're clearly not needed. I could see wearing one in the car or somewhere where you need to use both hands for something else. You look like a retard!

We recently lost our dog and our Vet staff was so great to him and us. I'm writing a thank you card to them and was wondering how it should be worded? Or if anyone knows of any thank you poems that I could add. Thanks

Friends are getting married and the reception is listed as "adult reception at 6:00 p.m." What should I wear? The same outfit that I wore to the wedding earlier in the day? Khakis and a blouse? It's at a reception hall which, from my understanding, is pretty nice. It's not the Ritz, but it's not McDonald's either. :) Help!

I am a 25 year old Indian girl. I work full time and am doing a part time MBA course at work. I live at home and my parents wont let me move out! I have to face emotional abuse and guilt from them when Im at home. I dont have any friends where I live.

I was speaking to one friend (old college friend - she nows lives 100 miles away from me) at 11pm last night. My parents must have heard me talking on the phone and my mum came in all angry and told me to get off the phone. I heard my dad bickering all angry to my mum afterwards. This got me depressed and I cried. They dont care as long as I dont have friends.

I never go out. only into town to shop for clothes and stuff. I work 9-5, mon -fri. I come straight home after work.

My life is so depressing and I feel so lonely. I live on the net everyday I come home...

Is there anyone who understand what Im going through.....? :*(

Alright, I wont smoke near you, but you need to stop driving your gas-guzzling, air polluting SUV past my house when i am sitting outside. Is it a deal? If not, then I have just as much right to smoke on in public as you do to drive. You car emits more smoke into the atmosphere in one hour than i will in a lifetime. Arent all thse ani-smoke nazis a bunch of hypocrites?

Spitting is illegal & urinating or defecating in public is illegal. Belching is noise pollution and flatulance is air pollution!

It will be held on the beachfront, with the bride and groom standing on the sand. It is set for 6:00pm. I am an invited guest. Don't think it is going to be very formal.

I recently had a stranger do a huge favor for me when even my friends and family could not/would not help me.
I had never met this person in my life, but he did a tremendous favor for me (random act of kindess) and went out of his way to do so. I know where he works and his first name, but nothing else. I have no romantic interest in him and do not beleive he has any in me, but I would really like to show my appreciation to him because he really made my week better.

Alright, I asked another question, and people brought up points that I hadn't thought about which makes me need to ask another question... here it is. Thanks in advance.

What is a good amount to tip a mover? Should you base it on the job or the amount of money you're paying them? I have a 3 bedroom, dining room, livingroom , 2 bathroom house that I'm moving out of and every room has junk in it. It's going to be a big job.. not to mention freezer, dishwasher, washer and dryer... it's big.

Would they prefer a money tip? Or would they prefer lunch and beverages? Or both? I've moved tonnes of times by myself, and I've never hired a mover before.. I don't know what the etiquette is.. please help, cause I don't want to come off like a snot or something to them.

I am moving this weekend and I hired movers. It is just too much for me to do by myself, and I needed someone to help me. Having said that, I'm not the type of person that can just sit back and watch someone do something that I should be doing. Is it wrong for me to help them where I can? Like, they move the big heavy things and I move the boxes with dishes, toys, clothes.. etc? I know I hired them to do something specific.. and I'm not expecting to pay them any less just because I choose to help, I just hate seeing people do my work for me. Wether I'm paying them or not.
