It depends on what people and what situation. Very rarely is a situation where a dirty looks gets under my skin - but there have been a few occasions.

yea i think that a lot of people would be a little self-conscious about it even if they say they don't care. It happened to me once and I said I didn't care but the way the person looked at me just stuck in my mind.

I learned a long time ago to ignore that, as you should if you want to avoid a lot of grief and stupidity that we all come across on a daily basis... there are more stupid people than you realize... in fact, there are far more crazy people OUTSIDE of asylums than inside asylums!
