have you ever been ever a friend's/relative's house and used their bathroom and they've had the fancy towels for decoration hanging up....well, my question is What do you wipe your hands on if those are the only towels they've got hanging up?

lol This one place I was at had towels just covered in lace! I didn't think they would dry my hands even if I wanted them to.
So instead I used the shower curtin. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but I figure it's used to being around water.
chances are the right option is to use the back of the towels or the inside of them when they are folded being careful not to mess them up.
I have no idea why people have those stupid things!

I use those, assuming they appear clean and not coated with a layer of dust because they've been hanging there as decoration for over a year. :) You have to dry your hands on something! I've never understood putting up fancy hand towels, or even regular bath towels, as decoration.

Use the fancy towels...anyone who doesn't leave out an alternative if they don't want their fancy towels used is either inconsiderate or stupid and deserves to have their showcase linens used. I hate being invited into someones home and have to try to dry my hands with a tissue or toilet paper.

You use those, but make sure you clean your hands thoroughly, so as not to soil the towel and shake off the excess water after rinsing, so as not to soak the towel.

They wouldn't have them as the only towels in there if they didn't want you to use them luv.

I usually use the back of the towel so they can't tell I have used them.

Why not there is no other alternative, no other towels and you don't want to get water all over the place.

Yes, use the towels. I entertain and I can tell you from experience thats what they are there for. Yes, they look nice, but they are still to be used.

Either on your clothers or ask them if they have a plain towel you could use!

Using the fancy towels without them knowing is rude!
