We recently lost our dog and our Vet staff was so great to him and us. I'm writing a thank you card to them and was wondering how it should be worded? Or if anyone knows of any thank you poems that I could add. Thanks

I would hand make a card with my favourite picture of the pet in question. Thank them for both their kindness and professional care at such a sad and emotional time. Poetry is not appreciated by all and a few heartfelt words would be better.
Sorry for your loss, whilst not quiet the same as loosing a person, its still a like loosing a memember of the family, hope you have loads of happy memories to look back on when the sadness has past.

I had to do this not that long ago unfortunately (my sympathies are with you). We wrote a little note thanking them for all that they did for us in our time of sadness and also got them (the vet and support staff) a nce box of chocolates. n the note we enclosed a poem - Crossing Rainbow Bridge. If you search that you will no doubt find it on the internet. Be prepared with some tissue if you have never read it before though.

Nowadays they have cards for vets! I gave our vet one a few years back. Maybe you can get one of those and write a note like some of the previous posters suggested- There are some good ideas up there^

Just write what you feel. I did the same when I lost a ferret that the staff really went above and beyond for. They even met me at the hospital at 2am to start working on her. I bought the doctor's office a door mat that said, 'Please wipe your paws'.

Sorry to hear of your loss... your Veternary staff will appreciate hearing your kind words - write from your heart which is more sincere than any pre-written greeting card...
