I answer peoples questions very often, very often I disagree and don't wish to disrespect them but only to tactfully state my opinion. I am sick of this and I just wanted to vent!!!! I also feel that this forum is very informative but I could really do without the underaged and immature responses I receive!

It seems these days everyone that I run into: customer service, people in college, administration grunt "UH-HUH" when I say "bye" or "have a nice day" or even "hello".

This happened 3 times today and it happens frequently when I am out or at work. Strangers and people that know me do this to me. What does this mean?

This seems SO RUDE to me when you say goodbye or hello to someone and they say "uh-huh". because if someone said "bye" to me, I would say "bye" back.

Who coined the term "African American"? Don't you think this should only be applied to someone that is from Africa and is now an American? I just think it's strange that the majority of people that this term is used to describe haven't even ever been to Africa. I'm of German decent. I'm referred to as Caucasion. Why am I not referred to as European American??

When you receive poor customer service, do you complain about the service?

When you receive outstanding customer service, do you contact a manager to let them know that their employee is an asset and did a fantastic job?

Ok so my friend takes the first approach. This guy comes up to her at the bar and if she doesn't like what he's working with she says in a LOUD voice for everyone to hear "Get the hell away from me!" If that doesn't work she complains about the guy to security. I'm the complete opposite. If a guy (drunk or not) comes up to me and I really don't wanna talk to him...I still will for a while, but I'll mention that I have a boyfriend who might get jealous if I was seen talking to him. If that doesn't work I simply move away and say nicely that I'm not interested. Just wondering which approach everyone thinks is a better idea. Also if a drunk guy at a bar touches you (ie. your back, your hair NOT breasts or anything else) do you swear at him or hit him? Or ask him not to touch you seeing as how he's drunk? My friend and I have a bet going on this, so all responses will be appreciated :)

His toilet's septic tank was broken, so I would've had an embarrasing moment. The sink was there and in good working condition. In my defence, the afformentioned diarrhea had a close resemblance to hot and sour soup, so it flew down the sink's plughole with natural ease.

I recently just moved from a one bedroom apt. to another one bed apartment? I hired a moving company. Thisis the first time I did this. I was not aware of the tipping policy. Honestly, it would have never crossed my mind that you even tipped movers. To make a long story short, I was not please with their service. They were mad that it was raining and I did not reschedule my move. ( I rent, I had to be out by a certain date!) The one younger kid told me "mam, remember that we do accept tips, especially since we are going to get soak and wet out there" I was strapped to begin with, paying them $90 per hour. I hired movers cuz it is so hard to find reliable friends and family members and I hate to inconvenience people and ruin their weekend by moving. Anyway, the same kid who solicited for tips also asked me for food twice. Jesus, was i supposed to feed them also??? I am moving for god sakes, I do not have a fridge full of food. If my friends and family were helping, I would have bought

A fishing trip was planned between some coworkers and I said I wanted to go after being told my share of expenses (license, charter, food, etc.) altogether wouldn't be more than $100 or so. Since then, I've been told that it would cost nearly $200 for myself, which I can't afford... I also learned that I need to work that weekend so I can't go anyway.

I have been looking for someone who wants to go in my place, but if I cannot find a replacement the group is asking me to pay my share of the charter deposit since that is nonrefundable.. I would be dishing out $100 for not going on a fishing trip. If they split my share, everyone would just being paying an extra $20.

Am I obligated to pay the money even though I will not be attending? I committed to going when I thought the trip would cost a lot less than it turned out, and an extra $20 is a lot easier for someone to come up with than an extra $100...
