I'm always having my ups and downs I for sure need some ups right about now!

You know, I used to think life had dealt me a raw deal. But now I'm older, if not wiser, I look around and see that millions of people have had truly rotten starts in life that they have overcome, faced up to , and overcome. Reality check - indeed!
Life can suck like a lemon - maybe I should learn to make lemonade. Its down to personal experience and what we can learn/do with it. I have wasted many opportunities, not made the best of a bad a situation, and not moved on. But you know what? I'm alive, relatively healthy, not destitute or alone and tomorrow is another day - the first day of the rest of your life!
Excellent question, by the way. Maybe its time for me to take stock and appreciate what I have NOW, instead of what could have been.

Pretty good, actually. There have been many ups and downs, but unless a person goes through the downs, they can't really totally appreciate the ups! I think a person who's had a really smooth, easy ride through life might be rather unprepared for a down and wouldn't know how to handle it well.
So, I am happy for the most part with my life as it is now. Try to think on the bright side. Be glad you're alive. Think about the positives in your life; there must be some!
Each day is a new one. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

My life has been a series of hills and valleys.
but it has been a journey of exploration.
I've had bad times,
I've had good times,
but you go with the flow
You do what you can and continue on.
Right now,despite health problems,
life has been good.
I hope I have learned the right lessons
and made some right choices,
*hang in there........there is joy in life--just look around.

its been pretty good. with the occasional fights & heartbreaks, friends treat me good and help me through any tough times i have. :]
