In my local running club that puts on most of the local races, there is a group of fast finishers who continually do their cool down walking on the course while mid pack runners like me are still finishing the race. Yesterday, the fab four were walking 4 abreast and I had to cross the yellow double line to go around them. I actually have a photo of it that a race photographer took. It just infuriates me. my poor husband talked me down from totally going off on them. What do I do? Just shut up and get over it or what??

I heard groping is a huge problem in Japan's subways but most women try not to make a scene when it happens because of their culture. Let's say you're on a crowded train and you notice somebody is behind you grinding or dry humping you. How would you react? What would you think about this type of behavior?

I mean why do they feel the need to walk about shopping malls, etc with those irritating blue flashing things on their ears? You don't see many ladies wearing them, only ever guys.
Are they so important they have to be in instant communication? - Because to be honest most of them don't look like they would be THAT important. Or is it something to do with being able to drive a car and still use a mobile phone - in which case why wear it in a shopping centre? I saw a guy wearing one in a RESTAURANT once. What do you all think of this behaviour?

These people smoke in the hallways, have a loud dog, they bang around it seems like 24/7! It's like they NEVER sleep and they're always frying something that smells like a cat, and the cigarette and grease smell is permeating into my usual clean apartment. I don't know what to do, these people aren't the kind that seem friendly or further more open to constructive criticism. I don't want my car vandalized or my apartment broken into and they seem like those kind of people. What can I do to difuse this potentially vile situation??

I went to shop at Target and while we were going from aisle to aisle, looking for things to buy. As we were passing by the toy section, I heard a loud tone of voice almost shouting saying "WOULD YOU PLEEAAASSEE STOP RIDING THE SCOOTER HERE? IF YOU ARE GOING TO PURCHASE IT, THEN PLEASE DO SO BUT DO NOT RIDE IT!". I turned around and saw my youngest daughter Hannah(8yrs.old) with a scooter. Immediately I asked the employee (Jamie) why was he raising his voice as if he had asked us once before. This employee responded and said that he had told my daughter not to ride it moments ago. I proceeded to point out to Jamie that she was 8yrs old and should address any concerns with me not Hannah. His voice began shaking and his eyes were rolling as he started to explain to me why he was right and I was wrong to question him. I demanded to speak to a manager and mockingly he said, I am the manager and no one else is available. At that moment I left my cart and walked out of the store.

These days most of my work colleagues are using "Best" as their email sign-off.

See you at the meeting.
Best,
Joe Schmoe

"Thanks" and "Sincerely" and "Regards" all seem so humdrum. So overused. And "Cheers" seems inappropriate.

Can anyone recommend a new, original, polite sign-off that would be appropriate for business emails?

Thank you!!
