I dont think its rude (hence the name) I do it all the time,especially while standing in line at wal mart

Just because it's a natural body function doesn't mean you should do it in public. Going to the bathroom is natural, but you don't do that out in front of everyone.

i think farting in public just shows that you have little self control. but its still funny as crap!when my husband farts in public, i tell our kids to start acting like they are gagging just to embarrass him.and the worst thing is to walk through a stinky fart that a stranger left behind. eeewwww! thats sooo nasty!especially if the person you think did it is really nasty looking.

for me it's rude because i could not stand the smell of it..and it ruins my nostrils..i have rhinitis you know.sensitive sinuses...well i guess some people are just sensitive and they just dont want to smell farts...though farting can be controlled..pls control it as much as you can.

We're not animals! Goodness. It smells BAD, it's selfish to subject everyone to your bad smells simply because you won't control yourself.
