I went to shop at Target and while we were going from aisle to aisle, looking for things to buy. As we were passing by the toy section, I heard a loud tone of voice almost shouting saying "WOULD YOU PLEEAAASSEE STOP RIDING THE SCOOTER HERE? IF YOU ARE GOING TO PURCHASE IT, THEN PLEASE DO SO BUT DO NOT RIDE IT!". I turned around and saw my youngest daughter Hannah(8yrs.old) with a scooter. Immediately I asked the employee (Jamie) why was he raising his voice as if he had asked us once before. This employee responded and said that he had told my daughter not to ride it moments ago. I proceeded to point out to Jamie that she was 8yrs old and should address any concerns with me not Hannah. His voice began shaking and his eyes were rolling as he started to explain to me why he was right and I was wrong to question him. I demanded to speak to a manager and mockingly he said, I am the manager and no one else is available. At that moment I left my cart and walked out of the store.

go to the target website and send them an email. I know for a fact that corporate office will not allow suck actions to go unnoticed by upper management

It is your responsibility to control the actions of your child in a business. You were wrong not to. He was within his rights as management of Target to say what he did. You are a lawsuit waiting to happen! You say you had to turn around, and were not aware your child was on it. Perhaps he said his announcement loud so the absent parent would hear and know he was speaking to them. He probably did not know who the parent was, as no one was supervising. His statement was in no way offensive. A store is not designed for scooter riding. Your daughter could have been seriously injured, and also damaged product. I would have thanked him for stopping my child's dangerous actions, and told my child to apologize. Is it any wonder so many children now are so disrespectful?!! She learns from your example. I shudder to think of how she will turn out, thinking she has a license to disrespect others property. Your child was rude to ignore him the first time.

he was right
if anything he should be rewarded
all he needs is a kid getting hurt and then it's off with the lawyers as you try to squeeze them for money
perosnally it shows you lack control of your kid on provate property
customers like you are the type who sue mc donald for hot coffee when they spill in on there lap.. DUHHH..
hopefully you'll neve return to bother Target again and maybe you do it to K mart or Walmart
