Shake her hand? I know they have some rules about touching. What would make her most comfortable?

Salam!

This means "Peace". It also means hello.

You will absolutely love Iranians. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I dislike Iranian and Islamic politics, but I have known many Iranians and they tend to be wonderful people.

Greet her how you would greet any other girl. Say Hello (or Salam.) And just make small talk. How old are you? What do you do? What kinds of things do you like doing for fun? Anything like that! Good luck, you'll be fine. After all, she is human just like you! =)

Say "&%$# ^&%." and shake her hand with your left hand. Then ask her if she washes her hair under that scarf. Go to lunch with her to a pulled pork barbeque place.

A warm greeting is welcome anywhere!!!! Hi, my name is_______, it is so very nice to meet you!!! Welcome!!! You can exchange different customs after you meet, when you have time to discuss. Now, help her with her bags, she is bound to be weary from traveling. Peace.
