Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me; because the LORD hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; Me hath sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;


Are not the Three Persons of the Godhead in the Old Testament, as it was too, in Isaiah 48? The Spirit of Jehovah, the Lord God Who is the Father, and the 'Me' is revealed as the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament in

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Does these not proof beyond doubt, the Three Persons of the Godhead??

So we have this Great Room and it's sorta new and I moved everything out of the way so we could play DDR and stuff. I even designated an area and put a cover over the carpet where I was going to have drinks and food and stuff like that on a certain table.
And we could all just have a really good time in there...but no. We're not allowed to eat in there which is RIDICULOUS because I said that I'd put towels down all over the couch so no one would get Cheetos fingers all over the furniture. All my other friends are allowed to eat and do anything they want in their living room...what's so great about MINE?
Is this normal? To have a mother who won't allow you to eat and drink in their EVEN WHEN you say you'll clean up the room til it's sparkling afterwards. Or putting down towels on the couch so no crap accumulates. Is this ridiculous or am I just overreacting?
(I am a 14 year old freshman boy who just wants to have a party with 6 or 7 people. If that adds anything special)

i bought rosettastone and have done 2 lessons. about 3/4 of the way thurgh each lesson my head started to hurt.i also made a lot more errors.

I think senior citizens should get more privileges from Govt. For example Medical care, Transport, Old age Homes etc. Can you suggest any other amenity to be provided for their welfare.

Hi there,
I'm a Christian and have been trying to stay chaste since deciding at about age 19. Anyway, as I'm nearing my 30s, it's getting tougher (again) to resist. I hear stories of other supposed Christians who seemed quite devout but have pre-marital sex. Society, ofcourse, fully accepts it and even says that its quite unhealthy not to have sex. I got my own parents being upset/disappointed and my dad thinks there's something wrong with me. And some of the girls I've been with also get disappointed when I refuse sex with them in bed.
Anyway, the topic hasn't come up in my church lately and like many things...sometimes I forget the exact things I do something. So, just wondering, where again in the Bible does God say it's a grave sin to have sex. I normally recall passages in the new testament where fornication or sexual impurity is wrong. But that's 1 of the disciplines saying it. If it was such a serious sin, why didn't we just got a straight rule on it, eg.10 commandments?

Does anyone sincerely believe that non-muslims and non-christians will all end up in hell... I say this because based on most of the questions and answers posted here, a lot of muslims and christians think that people of other religions are bound to go to hell.....

I am not a christian nor am I a muslim but i always thought that going to hell had nothing to do with your religion or ethnicity, but your character and actions...

serial child molester--->HELL
good samaritan who helps an old lady cross the road--->HEAVEN

It seems like fat people are the brunt of everyones ire. With it in the media constantly about how large our country has gotten, fat people are becoming worse targets than ever before.

I have not always been fat, and have gained a huge amount of weight due to health issues and I am just SHOCKED at how people treat me.

What gives? What gives skinny people the right?

Its like instant judge and jury, you are fat so forget about you. No one seems to concider that some people don't want to be fat, even if they dont have a condition making them keep the weight on.

(before anyone says change your meds, I need the steroids I am on, I need the anti inflamitories and other medications I am on or I WILL DIE)

I moved from one part of Scotland to another, 17 years ago but still seem to have my original accent. A friend of mine is from New Zealand but has been living here for only 6 years, and her accent has changed totally. Why do some people's accents change, while others don't? I wish i could change mine. Thanks.

They do it every time! Put a film on then, halfway through, put the news on. For those of us that get up at 05.30 hrs, a film finishing at midnight is a No! No!
I know we could tape it but why should we have to? We should be able to watch a film in its entirety. Do you agree?

My boyfriend and I are married without a wedding ring, we even live together and have two children. I am a christian, so I feel bad about the pre-marital sex thing. Does the bible say that you have to be "Married" or joined together in love?
