Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me; because the LORD hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; Me hath sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Are not the Three Persons of the Godhead in the Old Testament, as it was too, in Isaiah 48? The Spirit of Jehovah, the Lord God Who is the Father, and the 'Me' is revealed as the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament in

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Does these not proof beyond doubt, the Three Persons of the Godhead??

"I had found that the Jehovah witnesses are wickedly deceitful."

If that is how you feel, why do you continue to ask us stupid questions?

There is no scripture in the Bible that says the Father, Son, and the holy spirit are co-equal, co-eternal, almighty, and that they make up a single God. Instead of preaching that God is made up of THREE persons, Jesus clearly said that God is composed of ONE person. At John 17:3, he said that his Father is the ONLY true God, NOT a combination of Father, Son, and holy spirit. If you need to know the definition of "only," let me know.

It was the Catholic Church that invented the "Christian" trinity. As A Catholic Dictionary notes: “The third Person was asserted at a Council of Alexandria in 362 . . . and finally by the Council of Constantinople of 381.”

The Encyclopedia of Religion says: "Theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity."

Jesuit Fortman states: "The New Testament writers . . . give us no formal or formulated doctrine of the Trinity, no explicit teaching that in one God there are three co-equal divine persons. . . . Nowhere do we find any trinitarian doctrine of three distinct subjects of divine life and activity in the same Godhead."

The New Encyclopædia Britannica observes: "Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament."

Bernhard Lohse says in A Short History of Christian Doctrine: "As far as the New Testament is concerned, one does not find in it an actual doctrine of the Trinity."

Just because three things or people are mentioned in a verse does not make them one. How many times are Peter, James and John mentioned together? Are they a 'manhead'?

How can God "anoint" himself? How can God say "The spirit of God is upon me"? Wouldn't that mean he is trying to show that "God" is someone else apart from himself? He would've said "My spirit".

How can God send himself?

No, they do not prove that Jesus is God. Actually it proves that he ISN'T.

Do you read any of the stuff you put up here before you post it?

If you want to "prove" the trinity, you gotta try harder, man.

No. Almighty YHVH (there is no "J" in Hebrew) IS spirit.
